The location of the Coorg Misty Home | Rooms & Caretaker is really good, approx 4. 5 - 5 Km from the city center. Estate is in the middle of Coffee fields approx 1 km from main the road. The pathway to the Coorg Misty Home | Rooms & Caretaker is surrounded by Coffee fields, pointed with other estates along the way. The service is excellent. The owner is very helpful and a kind person, he helped us pick up (Drove the car himself) from bus-stop even at around 11 Pm at night and helped us with Towels. The food was served hot and reasonably tasty. Room was neat, well maintained and comfortable. Hot water availability is an issue. You have short window during which the hot water is available. Estate is beautiful, with greenery all around, you will awake to sweet chirping of birds and sunlight through the hills. Only the costing seemed a bit on the higher end for the stay paid around 2. 2 K per room per day. Secondly transport will be a problem and you may have to depend on the owner's car for movement if you don't own/rent a vehicle, which is slightly costly he takes approx 150 per trip to the city. Food cost is reasonable, 80 for breakfast and 120 for Lunch/Dinner. Hiring cabs is costly, I would recommend renting a bike/car for a day, you get well maintained and lots of variety for renting bikes. Overall it is value for money. You can go ahead and book it.
