I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Coorg Wilderness Resort with my family, which was an exceptional experience. Everything about our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Highlights: Impeccably Clean Well-Maintained Excellent Dining (especially "Habba" and "Vembanadu" Restaurants) Spectacular Valley and Hill Views Sunset Point with a View Luxury in Nature Ideal for Families Work-Friendly (15 Mbps internet) Friendly and Accommodating Staff Friendly and accommodating staff deserve special recognition. Their warm and welcoming attitude enhanced our overall experience. From the moment we arrived to the day of our departure, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality truly made our stay even more memorable. The friendly staff played a significant role in creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for our family. As the name suggests, the resort truly delivers on the promise of luxury in a natural setting. The architecture and landscaping blend seamlessly with the environment, providing an upscale yet eco-friendly experience. The resort offered a pristine environment, top-notch maintenance, delicious dining options, and stunning natural beauty. Despite a cloudy sunset, the view was still impressive. It's a perfect family retreat, and the 15 Mbps internet was great for work. Kudos to the friendly staff who made our stay even more memorable. We can't wait to return to this nature paradise. The only minor setback was that the resort doesn't offer AC rooms. However, we found the room temperature to be a pleasant 20°C with fans provided. The fan initially struggled to cool the extra bed area, but we later learned we could request an additional fan Despite this small inconvenience, our stay at Coorg Wilderness Resort was a memorable one, thanks to the friendly staff and the incredible natural surroundings Overall, we had a fantastic time at the resort. The amenities, activities, and hospitable staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for a perfect family getaway.

Pleasant stay amidst the nature. A quick pros & cons. Pros- Amazing rooms, Bigger ones, great interiors, luxury stay, Good food, polite staffs, worthy for the price u pay, Cons- Inattentive dining staffs had to remind them for everything! Monkeys, insects might come in if u keep the door Windows open, need buggy assistance, walking very difficult due to the steep slope. I would definitely suggest this Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa. They also conduct some activities. I did not try it though. Not sure if they charge for it. Buffet options are good. I loved their rooms. Cricket chirps noise will be heard throughout the night. So be prepared. Place is in close proximity to major sightings. Omkareshwara temple and madikeri fort, raja seat are nearby located. Views are good from the room. Try to stay for a couple of nights to explore the Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa and location. If u order from room it will take time. And if u go with a-la carte it will take time so order little bit early. Smooth check In process, very well received, they gave proper introduction to all the Hotel amenities and our package details. staff suggested us for a upgrade at extra cost but we were okay with the room booked. Absolute stunning property that will make you feel great with easy to locate ans high standard of hygieve & safety. Also, amjith from their team was excellent in suggesting to plan day and he also took for nature trek and shared some insight-full information of flora and fauna. Harish who went to drop in the buggy and pick us was very courteous. Otherwise the staff lacks service and quality of food. Breakfast time was chaos none of the service staff were bothered to find place for guest to sit and had to wait for long. Moreover, staff did not bother to offer or get space even after guest requesting. Food from the live counter was served cold, twice. Even after mentioning. Had to request for water in the room multiple times to deliver and that happens for back to back for 2 days. Realised the information don’t reach the relevant staff. Was sent the welcome cake as amenity in the evening 10:45 pm the day i checked in. Not sure what was the thought process to surprise in late evening. See lack of communication between staff. Gm of the resort need to do lot of work to bring the service standard worth the price the guests are paying. Especially suggest him to stand during peak breakfast time to understand what guests are going through at the start of the day.

We were searching for a peaceful place and finally found this resort recommendation on MakeMyTrip. It's an amazing choice as the resort is nestled amid the Western Ghats. **Room Experience:** We opted for the Wilderness Grove View room, which offered a full package of luxury experiences, including a big bathtub and rain shower. We also checked the Grand Grove View room, which is just bigger in size with no major difference in experience except for the hefty price tag. **Activities:** The resort offers many activities. One of the best things is the pricing provided by MakeMyTrip, along with in-house credit that can be automatically redeemed during checkout. **Food:** We tried all three restaurants on board: - **The Tipsy:** Offers various drinks and starters. Rating: 3/5 - **Habba:** The first choice for buffet breakfast with many cuisines. Loved the food. Rating: 5/5 - **Vembanad:** Specializes in Kerala cuisine. Loved the palav and fish starters. The place just takes your breath away and you feel so one to the space. Awesome people to take care very professional and courteous. They have gone a long way to ensure that the stay is safe for you. Beautiful property with royal interiors where kodava architecture meets luxury. Great hospitality. Tasty food. All the rooms have top class aminities. They offer complimentary coffee experience where prashanth explained us all about coffee. We also attended nature walk where prashanth explained very well about all the trees and coffee plantation. Beautiful sunset view from the tower built inside property. The team including sourav, ronita, debanhjali, rafiq are very helpful and enthusiastic. We could see passion in their work. Chef susinder went out of the way to customise kodava food for us so that we could taste the cuisine in vegetarian variety. They have taken care to be e co friendly with small small details like using sealed glass bottles for water instead of packaged drinking water which is great step towards reducing plastic. Overall great place with warmth and great hospitality by team.

Loved the room and the facilities in the room. Everything is so well though of. The staff is extremely proactive and willing to serve you at all times. My daughter and me had the most lovely time!

The property is located in a magical valley which has lush emerald green trees and a constant hug from shimmering mist. The rooms are luxurious, clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is very attentive and friendly. There are plenty of photo ops within the resort area. The swimming pool is exquisite - it is an infinity pool that looks into the cliff of the valley. Feels like you are at the edge of heaven. A truly delightful Madikeri / Coorg experience. Worth every single rupee ✨👏🏼

Awesome place nestled between the hills. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. The rooms are elegantly designed and equipped with the best of the amenities. The food is great and very happy to choose this place. The property is huge and takes care well of its staff. Trust me everything is in-house and one can skip the sight seeing outside. Adventure actives and in-house activities are a great way to keep you occupied.

We have stayed for a night at the coorg wilderness resort and what an amazing experience it was. We felt disconnected from the complete chaotic world for a day. I would love to visit this place again.

Very pleasant stay, resort is full with amenities they have a lot of fun activities that will make the stay even wholesome, rooms were very clean and hygiene was top class, and lastly great staff that looks after all your needs.

Good, clean and very spacious rooms furnished with luxurious furniture. Loved the stay. The grand hill view rooms has great views as well. Great food and welcoming staff.

Awesome place to stay, had a great time here. We stayed here for 3 days. Decent food, great ambiance and location for the stay. Great staffs especially aswathi who constantly be in touch with you during your entire stay, akshay who has been awesome in the restaurant, great service. Priya has been very pleasant and greets with a smile anytime you go to the restaurant. Along with devasree who was helpful as well. Special mention to the staff feba who was very helpful in the spa. Overall great experience and would recommend this place any day.
