Country Club Valley Vista

Pros: 1. All rooms have valley view 2. The Country Club Valley Vista is at a location which has nothing nearby so it makes the view unblocked and naturally more beautiful. 3. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. 4. The rooms are clean 5. Breakfast buffet is good and they have variety. 6. Hot water is available throughout the day Cons: 1. Since the Country Club Valley Vista is at a beautiful location, it is obviously far from the town: no restaurants or shops nearby. Only option for food is the Country Club Valley Vista restaurant. There is a maggi joint, bhajji and tea coffee joint around 800 meters from the Country Club Valley Vista which is good. 2. Since there was no buffet dinner on Sunday, we ordered a la carte; the food was at all good. Need a lot improvement there. (We ordered Chinese) 3. Kodai town to and fro will cost you 350-400 each time; a total of 700-800 INR.

I stayed with my family at the Country Club Valley Vista, Kodaikanal, between 16th to 18th July 2018 for a holiday. We had booked two studio rooms for our stay there. However, the rooms left a lot to be desired. There was no room heater and no wardrobe or closet in the rooms. Bare hooks were provided to hang our clothes, without any hangers. The power supply was also a big hassle and we were bothered by frequent power cuts. The bathrooms were not up to the mark either. The rooms though offered great view of the hills and the distant valley. The dining facilities were decent, with the catering staff being very helpful and courteous. However, the breakfast and lunch or dinner spread were limited and calls for more variety. Frankly, we expected better facilities from a Country Club property.

We traveled as a couple pros: a) good view of the valley from your room and you can go for a walk around the surroundings cons: a) this Country Club Valley Vista is situated very far from kodaikanal center. So every time you step out be prepared to pay huge amounts for transport ( around 2000. Unless you have a own vehicle better not to stay here. B) in-spite of charging a hefty price they didn't even provide a complimentary breakfast. You need to pay 330 per head per day for breakfast and 660 per head per day for buffet t dinner. Outline: if you want a breathtaking view of valley and if you have a own vehicle this Country Club Valley Vista is a good place to stay. For budget travellers it's better to stay nearby kodai lake

We stayed here as a couple, the property has the best view. They organised individual bornfire with barbeque along with candle light dinner. The rooms were clean & tidy with great view, excellent service throughout our stay, we had a memorable stay at country club valley vista after lockdown. They too maintain the safety standards.

Me and my daughter enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. The view from my room was spectacular . Loved the weather there too . My daughter loved the in house activities conducted by Satish . He is full of energy and makes sure everyone participates. The dinner buffet is a decent spread and the breakfast is also quite nice. Bharti sketched my tour plan for 3 days . We did the trek to the dolphin nose, trek to the Three waterfall inside the forest and a Munavar village which had the sheep and rabbit farm along with a lake there was scenic. The Driver they provided escorted us really well. Will come back to visit this resort again

The Country Club Valley Vista being far from the City of Kodaikanal, its pleasant away from Chaos, just near the Silver cascade water falls which gives you the natural gushing water sound. Room view to the natural beauty of hillstation makes it more pleasant. Food is mostly Non Spicy, on request its altered. Staff are polite and at your service. On the festival season, they arrange for games amongst the guests present. Its a wonderful place to relax, have fun for the families or the couples. The Country Club Valley Vista also arranges for many trekking and adventurous activities as well.

A perfect place for people looking to spend some quality time away from the city chaos amidst the nature's lap. Resort's location is really good with beautiful view of the valley. Rooms are neat and clean. Each and every person of the staff is very courteous and well behaved. Facilities are up to the mark. Food is amazing. Services are prompt. The only setback was the road to the resort which is in a very bad condition. I hope they'll get that fixed soon. Also the resort is too far from the city and there are no shops nearby. Best time to visit would be from August to December.

Nice resort. Nice location. Food also excellent in their restaurant. Very decent and excellent resort for stay with family and friends also. Staff approach is good. I give 5 stars to the room service. Nice response from reception and room service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet system. Nice location. I was stayed in double room deluxe room with balcony. It's very comfortable for 6 adults. Children play area was nice. The approach road for a distance of 5 km is bad. Otherwise all are Ok. Location near a cliff is the major highlight of the Country Club Valley Vista. Sunrise view from the Country Club Valley Vista is breathtaking. Hotel is quite old and needs maintenance in rooms. Food was decent and staff were polite. Also there is a play ground for kids. Deluxe room offers the best views from balcony

Hotel is located on the top of the hill, with beautiful cloudy surroundings. Overall enjoyed the stay with tasty food.

Positives - beautiful location without any vehicle noise and calm place, free from noise pollution. Easy to identify the location and friendly atmosphere. Negatives - Room maintenance has to improve in terms of sanitary. There's is no Wi-Fi connection. Card facility is not available. Can improve the breakfast menu.

We as a couple went Country Club this november we didn't See any discomfort Der our stay was memorable one especially fire camp with music and games

Overall a good experience had a lot of fun with friends and family members
