Crafters' Villa

The place is 15 minutes away from Fateh Sagar lake, very easy to spot. The place is very clean and well maintained. The owners insist on cleanliness. Toiletries and room requirements were all up to the mark. The best thing was nice hot water in the December cold we visited in. We had breakfast included in our package. You get served with yummy, hot breakfast prepared by the owner herself. They believe in not wasting food and hence the portions are limited, but that doesn't mean they starve you. You can always ask for more if you need. But the portions served were enough for us and were really good. Breakfast is served while lunch and dinner aren't available as this is a homestay and they do not have a restaurant to cater to customers. But you can request them if you need. We ordered food delivering websites since we didn't want to step out, who can locate the place easily. There are a couple of options around as well. You could also eat at the Fateh Sagar lake which has a lot of street food options. They don't allow food to be eaten in the rooms as they are concerned about the cleanliness. There is parking space available inside as well as outside the gate. The day we were leaving, we had to leave a little too early. We informed them a night prior just so that we could give the keys and complete our formalities. We said we didn't want to trouble them early in the morning and hence would skip breakfast. On the day we were leaving, they were ready with some hot packed breakfast for us which we could carry on our way. They also made us hot steaming tea. It was really sweet of them to go beyond their way for us. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Mamta aunty and Vipra Didi are great hosts. Thanks so much for everything.

Hotel is at a very good location at the main road very close to Lake Pichola and Lake Fatehsagar. Property is extremely clean ans well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Best stay at this price. Breakfast was super tasty.

The stay was amazing. Clean rooms and washrooms. The quantity of food provided in complimentary breakfast was very less. They should be more considerate about the appetite of their guests.

Neat rooms and clean washrooms but you have to take steps to reach property and there is no lift. Remaining everything are just good and the management is also friendly and cooperative.
