Cygnett Inn Trendz Itanagar

The room was found unclean with consumed cigarettes in the bin at the time of check in. TV was found to be not working with cable network expired. Further, the room didn’t have a window and the wash room didn’t have proper ventilation and the toiletries were of poor quality. Overall the stay was poor.

Stayed twice in this property during our visit to AR. And both the experiences were different. The first time room was food and the good we ordered was tasty too. The second time, room had issues. Our sink clogged. The service people came immediately and looked into it. The room and the floor also had a foul smell because most of the rooms are below ground level. The open bar is expensive regardless of happy hour. Breakfast was average. Watermelon juice had gone bad, but again they changed it after notifying them. So overall the service is good. But there are some issues.

Food is very good. Ambience is good. Rooms are spacious. Neat and Clean Rooms. Washrooms are also good.

I trsusted cygnet to be good and therefore booked the stay. While the rooms are good, spacious etc., the hotel has a major issue- only a selected few rooms have windows and out of those perhaps only the suite room will have a ‘an uninstructed ‘ view . There also seems to be a major issue of dampness/ water seepage through the ceiling of the -2 level. At least during our visit between 17 to 19th August 2025. The bathroom in room 210 had a weird stench that didn’t seem to go away. Attention to detail in the rooms electrical fixtures also needs a mention. The lights over the mirrors both in room the bathroom and the room are just vestigial. Breakfast is decent. Considering these factors I would think twice before my next visits

The rooms clean, staff is extremely polite & helpful & the food excellent with Mr Bijoy Nanda the manager maintaining the all day dining facility ensuring that I got pure vegetarian food with my diet restrictions in mind. that ensured a more than welcome stay location is peaceful. hotel position is okay, Food quality is average as all buffet counters are open and lots of insects are flying, room service is not very helpful as nobody picking the call, on 24th after reaching the hotel lift problems starts and when we check out 26th still it was out of order

A small property just as we enter Itanagar. A sour and sweet experience. Day 1 everything was below par the mattress with springs which protruded and injured me, the door latch which was broken, the untidy rooms, the f n b executive who bluntly refused our request for Moong Dal Khichdi. The sweetest experience Mr Mehdi and kalpa along with chef RAJ Doley who came to our rescue from the Day 2. It was sweet on the part of Mr Raj the chef who curated the food to our liking and even our baby had a great time. Danish and Joseph from time to time helped us in erasing the bad memories of the precious Day. Over all a good experience but the mattress needs to be changed immediately.

Great location of the property, food was delicious and the facilities was tremendous.

PROS: Serene location almost at the end of Itanagar with ample parking space. Breakfast spread is good with window of 3 hours (7:30 - 10:30). Rooms are spacious with study table, safety locker, extra chairs and lot of drawers. I found the staff pretty good with responsive housekeeping staff notably, Najoy and Toko Api were very good and made my experience at Cygnett quite good. CONS: I asked for early check in but was told that I need to pay 2K extra which is almost 60% of the room charge. I found the staff over phone a bit unfriendly, un-cooperative & totally money minded. Another disappointing fact about the hotel is their bathroom which is very small and doesn’t have any separator between the commode and shower area which makes the whole bathroom messy when we take bath. There are tissue paper kept near the commode but it gets completely wet when someone opens the shower faucet. It needs immediate attention. Location of this hotel is not great of someone doesn’t have their own/rental car for the entirety of their stay at Cygnett.

excellent stay at Itanagar with all modern amenities with better connectivity well near and clean rooms

The hotel is located on the main road at the beginning of the city, overall a nice place. The room alloted to me was excellent, with proper bed, ac, TV including the quality of tea bags, coffee all were excellent. The size of the room were very big. The house keeping service provided were excellent. Room service , restaurant boys were excellent in their services. But the quality of food provided needs improvement. All the facilities provided are outstanding. Whenever we made a request, the same was resolved forthwith. The car rental charged to me were on higher side
