Daffodil Inn

We stayed three nights during week days. Hence there were not many guests in the Daffodil Inn. The stay was pleasant in spite of some minor issues, spacious clean rooms and courteous staff.
Positives: Spacious rooms with comfortable chairs, 3 power outlets enabling simultaneous charging of multiple electronic devices Plush mattress. Standby UPS and generator Complimentary south-indian style (Idly, vadai, dosai, poori) breakfast along with sambar, coconut chutney, tomato chutney and potato curry. They also provide bread and omelette. Only problem is that it is served at about 07:45AM Complimentary water bottle, tooth brush, paste, shampoo sachet and lux soap. Ample open-area car parking area within the Daffodil Inn premises Very courteous staff and they attend to our service requests promptly. . Negatives: Linen cleanliness is just ok, could be better. Limited TV channels and picture quality is very bad. TV remote is so dirty that it is disgusting to use it. There is a mini fridge. It is not on. The on-off switch, I was told , is behind the fridge on the wall. It is not easily accessible. Hence I do not know whether the fridge works or not. No coffee maker within the room.

Rooms and location are great. Good interiors and cleanliness is great. Food can be improved. I mean buffet items can be improved and items won't be available if you're going lilo bit late to lunch or breakfast. I didn't get breakfast complimentary though i've booked actually. Room are good for 4 adults and one child in that category actually it can accommodate 6 too. Though my booking dtarts from 12pm receptionist allowed early check in which was great gesture to customers. I would definitely recommend this stay for those who is looking for good ambience and cleanliness and lots of parking area this place wpuld be great. Room service is really pathetic most of all time not even responsive. Rest all ok.

Its 2 km away from the church but there is prompt and cheap services to get you to the basilica or the market area. Hotel staff are cordial and polite. They also have great buffet breakfast and room service at nominal rates. I and my wife had comfortable stay without much of a hassle. On my check out day I forgot my bag full of documents and money at their check out desk. They called me on my phone to alert me although I had left the Daffodil Inn away 2km, really appreciated their honesty got back everything untouched.

Stayed here for a night. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast was good initially they were reluctant to include eggs as part of the complimentary breakfast. The food options were limited for lunch and they charged us with GST. Had to get it corrected. So check your food bill if you are having anything. Over ideal if you need a decent place to crash.

Good Daffodil Inn with decent breakfast rooms are OK and best part is little far from the congested street of church. Reception side needs to be improved in the way of clealiness. Helpful staff. Bed was OK to sleep in. Great locality. Easy access to church. Lunch was not that good and bit. Expensive.

I was really happy staying here with my family. The room was clean and the staff were cordial and polite The complimentary breakfast was good. Dinner could have been better but otherwise I would call it a best place. If we would visit Velankanni anytime sooner, my first choice is Chandra Royale Inn.

Quality of room is really good. Everything that you need at a semi luxury Daffodil Inn. Hot water, room ambiance and good outside view. Located 2kms from the besalica church. Excellent breakfast combination and food quality. We had been here in 2019 & now in 2023. Experience still the best!

Newly renovated property. We had a pleasant stay at Chandra Royal Inn. Away from the crowds of the city but again close by the church. Would definitely recommend for a one/two night stay. Food was tasty but again breakfast buffet was so limited. So that could be improved. Overall good stay.

It’s really best and awesome place to stay. Room service was on time and will suggest to stay loved the environment. But far from church should have vehicle for travel

Neat and clean

Hot water in bathroom was not adequate. AC machine has no cooling effect.

I had a very good stay at the Daffodil Inn. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The staff is cooperative. The Daffodil Inn ambience is peaceful and Daffodil Inn itself is very spacious. The breakfast served is very good and tasty.

The stay at daffodils in was really very nice. We stayed for 2 days and the hospitality by the staffs was very good. The rooms are big and very well maintained.

One of the best Daffodil Inn. Very good staff, good food. Near to Church for those traveling on their own. Very well-maintained rooms. All branded bath fittings without any leaks. Good A/c and hot water. Overall, very good experience. Would prefer the same next time.

Excellent service, attended immediately to all my queries and requests. Food is ok, rooms are new and good too, would definitely recommend to others too. Location wise quite near to Church but still away from busy roads. Surely will stay in that place in my next trip too.

Amazing place to stay and great experience

I visit temple and Daffodil Inn is good. Cleaning is good. I really feel good and parking facility is also good. Good Daffodil Inn for comfort and pleasant stay but few distance from Velankanni and food is also good.

The Daffodil Inn was new but the staff was courteous and experienced. Didn't have any problems whatsoever.

It was a good experience with Chandra Royal. It is very good place to stay with family. All the department services except front office was very good and helpful. The full mark is for cleanliness, especially in wash rooms.
