Daksha Tarayana Grand (Near Mg Marg)

Positives View - The rooms have spectacular views of the mountain. It's very good and something you should look upto in the morning. It's also a con as without electricity it gets really dark in the night and you are on the edge of the hill Staff - Extremely Positive and helpful, the best I have ever experienced. The treat the guests with lots of love and care. Room Size - Rooms are spacious and near and clean. Food - Very well served food , a tip include dinner in your package too, feels like Ghar ka khana with healthy food options available too. they provide buffet with a few options which we can get unlimited refill. Cons 1. Location - It's not near MG Road, it's upward the hill and is recommended if you have a vehicle private car before you arrive. 2. Electricity Issue - During our stay we faced electricity issue, the light was not there for the entire night. 3. No Fan and AC - The room does not have any fan and AC. and the window size is small. so it feels a bit suffocating without it and it won't be enjoyable if the temperature is above 17 degree. The Daksha Tarayana Grand (Near Mg Marg) has a standing fan available on request but it does not circulates the air in the entire room. Why we still rated 5 Star? Because the staff was very very nice, they showed a lot of love and care towards their guests.

GOOD HOTEL WITH GOOD PEOPLE . HOTEL WAS VERY NEAT AND CLEAN . ALL STAFFS WERE VERY MUCH CO-OPERATIVE. FOOD QUALITY AND TEST OF FOOD WAS VERY NICE. I STAYED FOR 2 NIGHTS WITH MY FAMILY AND FELT THAT WE HAVE STAYED TO OWN HOUSE. WE WHERE W GOING TO KITCHEN AND ASKING FOR OIR DEMAND. COOK ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF OUR DESIRE AND DEMAND. I FOUND THAT HOTEL DAKSHA IS A GOOD OPTION TO STAY IN GANGTOK. MR.RAVI THAPA SR.MANAGER OF HOTEL WAS OUT OF STATION BUT HE WAS REGULARLY IN MY TOUCH AND WAS TAKING CARE TELEPHONICALLY JUST LIKE A GOOD FRIEND AND FAMILY. MANAGER WAS OUT OF STATION B

i had a wonderful stay at daksha tarayana grand in gangtok. the location was great, just a short distance from mg marg. the staff were courteous and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience was really relaxing. i would definitely recommend this Daksha Tarayana Grand (Near Mg Marg) for anyone visiting gangtok.

I’ll recommend this stay for whom wants to stay away from city hustle. View from the rooms are amazing and mesmerising. Especially the sunset is the best. Staff especially maunisha and front desk staff are very very amazingly good at service. The cherry on the cake is breakfast, delicious and varieties served. Room are super spacious

The Daksha Tarayana Grand (Near Mg Marg) is clean and has a good space inside the room and an outside room with buffet breakfast facilities with good taste. The staff's behaviour is very cooperative and supportive. Vehicles are easily available for visiting sightseeing.
