I had an excellent stay at Daragaon Village Retreat. The hospitality was outstanding and the staff made me feel truly welcome. The ambience is serene, with a focus on community living and harmony with nature. The award winner retreat is very well maintained, hygienic and peaceful. The organic food was fresh, flavorful and memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quite, authentic experience and I look forward to returning.

A home in the clouds!

The place is a beautiful, quaint homestay in Darap village. Its a fabulous little home in the clouds. The rooms are quite neat and clean. And the home cooked food is amazing .. Great flavours and great service. Only glitch was that the walk up to the homestay is a task especially when you are carrying big luggage. Very tiring as there are stairs and then there are no specific bellboys as it's a homestay. Locals help, but you have to pay more.

Lovely rooms with food also, location is for nature lovers. It's a modern village, Brother Shiva, Sister Radha, Karuna & Puspa is just like a lovely neighbor and lovely pet also, I should visit 2nd time very soon.

The room was good. The servant lady is fast. The environment is also good. One should consider the road conditions to plan the trip to Pelling. The roads are very bad. There are works are going. So if you plan to go to Pelling via road from Gangtok or darjeeling, this is not the ideal time. It may take another 2 years to complete the road project. Otherwise book a luxury vehicles like Innova for the road trip to Pelling.
