The people in the De Sovrani are very nice. They provide service with a smile. The food is good. Cleanliness (especially the dusting of the rooms) could be better. The rooftop hookah bar has great live music. Sand restaurant provides interesting food. Laundry is done very well. But takes a long time to come back. Wish there was an express laundry service. Each room has one key. But if there are two people staying in a room, it would be nice if two keys are provided. Without that, it is difficult to access the lift or get into the room. The guest without a key has to keep asking reception for help in going up in the lift and opening the room door.

The rooms are really cozy, feels like we are at home. Air-conditioning is proper. Televisions have variety of channels unlike other De Sovranis the house keeping service is upto the mark. They change everything everyday. The complementary dinner was not a buffet, it is served in room. But quantity is sufficient. And taste as usual is fantastic like home, its healthy. The other amenities like gym and swimming pool is also available and are pretty cool. The checkin is really superfast, within 5 mins they gave our room key card. The staffs are polite. A really nice stay. Will surely come back again.

Hotel is very decent with all the facilities available, it's good 3 star De Sovrani. Room sizes are decent, basic amenities are provided. Breakfast spread is not that much but, u can really have great breakfast with all the fresh fruits, juices, some hot disheses and breads, cereals and some pastry. With omlete and dos a options. If u book lunch / dinner, they have only limited menu options and no buffet. But, food quality is tasty. It's value for money, worth considering the De Sovrani for your business or family's trip with a decent budget.

The De Sovrani is Business travellers like and most of the crowd is office goers on official visits. Though its a bit costly, its the entry level premium De Sovrani in Slat lake area. The complimentary breakfast is very good with variety of options like South Indian menu, North Indian menu and some English breakfast. The Dinner buffet can improve though. The location is typical Kolkata setup 😏, but the Hotel's interiors and rooms are good. It's near City Centre mall, so there's always a pastime option for some shopping and good street food.

My stay was amicable and pleasant : pros - 1. Located in prime location and have very good connectivity 2. Staffs are courteous 3. Spacious lobby to cover newspapers and magazines 4. Dining is available cons : 1. Hotel look posh from outside but renovations are required very much 2. Bedding and pillows requires immediate attention

Hotel is situated at very posh location with nearest metro station city centre (200 m distance. Hygiene was excellent. Smoke alarm, water sprinkler are installed in the room. Room service was available on each day of stay. Staffs were also very supportive and attentive and they were responding very quickly to any problem.

Faucet adjecent to comode was choked, water was not evem warm

I was upgraded to suite and faced following 1. No slippers in the suite 2. The water in the wssh basin and shower qas not even luke warm 3 the faucet adjecent to comode was choked with very little water flow if this is the cindition of a suite room, i am not sure what will be the position of other rooms

We stayed for a day here and i can say that the standards maintained by the De Sovrani is absolutely magnificent. Room service was very prompt while the wide spread of delicacies in the restaurant section will make your stay more pleasurable. Cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout.

Location is ideal, near city center. Toto, cabs etc are easily available. Hotel has a good vibe. Rooms are extremely small. Breakfast was okayish. The utensils were stained yellow to an extent that you won't feeling like eating. Overall an average place to stay.
