Deep Woodz Estate Stay | Rooms in a Villa

We stayed here for 3 days. The estate comprises of 30 acers of coffee plantation and you have the freedom to walk through the thick plantation. The food provided was delicious. The host is an amazing person. The wifi is just ok. The room was clean. The balcony from the superior deluxe room was awesome as well. Could hear the sounds of the forest. I felt refreshed after the experience! the water pressure in the restroom was great and the geyser provided a great experience ! since we stayed over the weekdays, we were the only guests and every meal seamed like a private meal ) suggestions for improvement: i would suggest to buy new linen and maybe flatten the path to the estate from the main road. Also, make sure that tv remote is working before customer checks in. Some light fixtures were broken and not repaired. For the budget, i will totally recommend it for everyone who wants to explore a coffee estate and eat excellent coorg food.

This is a perfect place if you want absolute tranquility, escape city life , rejuvenate your mind and soul , owner of the property Mr. Harish is absolute gentleman , he was always there at our service , arranged whatever it was required . He let us check in early , checkout late, offered us buffet breakfast and dinner, with bonfire , he has amazing homemade wine , spices and pickle incase if you want to buy . Rooms are of 4 star category , very comfortable bed , amazing balcony view in middle of the coffee estate , place is filled with beautiful flowers and Greenery, washroom is no less than a five star accommodation. Entire place is build with wood, he have paid so much attention to the detail from lighting to curtains , mirror , tables , bathing fittings , balcony chairs and table . I would always come back to this property.

Well…I am writing this almost 3 months since I had been at Deep Woodz. I travelled with my family during the last week of August 2017. To start with, the location is really deep inside coffee estates and I had to struggle a bit to get to the place. But once we reached, all that grudge was compensated by the calm and serene environment. The rooms were neat and tidy. The staff was courteous and responsive. I needed milk etc. For my kid which was happily served. The homemade Coorgi cuisines were really nice, I think much better than Deep Woodz Estate Stay | Rooms in a Villas and restaurants. Not to forget, the owner stays within the same premise and is a nice person. He helped us plan our outings optimally as per available time. Overall it was a very relaxing trip and a great value of money.

Room : the super deluxe room is very good with clean linens, spacious wooden rooms and a balcony with super views of greenery. The washroom are very clean with hot water geyser. Food : the dinner buffet has a good spread and breakfast is decent. No outside food available. Views : it's inside 30 acres of coffee plantation. The views around the room is serene and truly beautiful. Location: it's around 30 kms from madikeri and 35 kms from kushal nagar and good to have personal car else travel is difficult. Other facilities : you can walk in the coffee plantation play badminton enjoy bonfire host : harish uncle and aunty are super friendly and helpful ppl and super hosts. Overall : great stay amid-st the woods if you have an own car else travel is costly.

The estate is located in 30 acres of land with lots of plantation of coffee, pepper, coconut and others. We took a super deluxe room which had a wooden finish, with clean bathroom and balcony for sitting and enjoying the views outside. Only issue is you can hear others chatting in other rooms but that is not much of an issue as you will mostly enjoy outdoors. You can enjoy the tours of the estate, play sports, enjoy bonfire or just go outside and enjoy some spots in madikeri. The food is excellent and mostly prepared by the host. The hosts (harish and his wife) are friendly and will try to help you as much as possible. Even the staff (especially ganesh) is friendly and always helpful. Overall a relaxing and happy stay and hope to visit again.

We visited on 24th oct, 2020. Ensure you reach before night, last 600m to the homestay is completely off road n thru thick coffee plantation. We were concerned about social distancing; thankfully, rooms are like cottages well spread out. The homestay doesn't have swimming pool/gym. Super deluxe room we chose has wood finish walls, balcony has rich wood flooring; ensures warmth in winter. Overall, entire place is relaxing with thick plantation (almost forest like) surrounding all sides. Very difficult to find any Deep Woodz Estate Stay | Rooms in a Villa for food nearby, but thankfully homestay food is wholesome and delicious. Its a homestay, don't expect resort kind of room service

We group of 6 adults and 3 kids stayed for 3 nights, its an amazing stay. The owner of the estate Mr. Harish and his son are soo kind and very cooperative. As it is a homestay v have limited varieties of food but if u order in advance they will prepare and they are very tasty, i liked the mutton curry and dal Must try theirs fruit jams and wines which where prepared by them. I loved pineapple jam and ragi wine The rooms and the estate were well maintained. I strongly recommends this place comparing price and facilities

Location is awesome. Well maintained spacious rooms as it is kind of cottage. Facilities and services were really great. Had a pleasant trip with spouse and parents and they had a great holiday. Nice estate with great hospitality. Food was superb! Owner was very helpful and supportive. Such a wonderful stay we had here hence we didn't go any where outside of the property as we don't wish to miss the precious time we had here. Staff were highly cooperative and ready to help at each second. Overall awesome stay we had. Highly recommend to others who love nature. Definitely will visit again !!

Excellent rooms, well maintained, very clean, tasty lunch dinner and breakfast, but snacks less varieties, Ganesh is good helping in room services, tasted home pineapple wine awesome taste, beautiful flowers in garden, mr and mrs harsh maintained good hospital

Owner of this property was very good and humble. It was my first visit in Coorg. My family has enjoyed this property instead of seeing points of Coorg. The location of this property in interior but every can enjoy, if he arrives in group.

Overall experience was quite good. Thumbs up to the owner and support staff for all their efforts. Lunch/dinner quality could be improved.

Property is located 20 kms away from Madikeri Town, quite an enjoyable drive through coffee estates. This estate and stay is well maintained and their service is really good.

Beautiful place, superb host and delicious food that's how I can define this place .try to spent whole day here and relax don't include any sight seeing while staying there, I even purchased some nice spices from here ,they don't display or advertise this I asked bychance . They even had home made wine and jam also,and it was very safe, they even have 2 dogs 😁

The location is a major plus point. It's actually in the middle of the jungle. Little away from the city, hence commuting is an issue if you don't have your personal vehicle. Host and people are very friendly and helpful.

A great location in the middle of coffee plantation and the staff including Mr. Somaiah were extremely helpful and polite. Would surely recommend.

The stay was very good. The place has a good mood in it. Lot of greenery give more joy for people who like to go on walk. The service was prompt. The proprietor of the home-stay has helped us in many aspects of our trip and helped making it pleasant. Thumbs up. For enthusiasts, it's an apt option to go for.

The homestay was in the Middle of coffee estate, Rooms were really clean & neat. The stay was Interior and the road which leads to estate was very narrow and terrifying to reach! But people who love adventure will definitely enjoy. Estate Owner Harish was Humble and offered a great food ( Bit expensive) Overall its was great experience Staying there for 2 nights

Hotel stay is great and it says in its name it is in deep inside the woods and very near to nature
