DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT

Rooms are simple but well maintained and clean. Location is at the top of the fort. Walk from the parking to the DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT is approx 950 metres and 10-15 min. Initially you may feel as if its far but believe me once you are used to it you wont feel it as it is located in a proper shopping area in between a shopping market so you are going to enjoy if you are shopping lover. View from the room window was awesome as you can see whole Jaisalmer city from the room. Food is very tasty. Owner Deepak Bhai is very kind and Manager Sukhdev is also very good and cooperative. For the luggage they really help a lot by carrying it on their Scooter so you dont have to worry about it. Parking you have to park at fort parking but at your own risk.

This one's located approx. 200m from the auto stand chowk inside the fort. Sukhdev - the caretaker, is your go to man throughout your stay. Food was good, might be a bit on the pricey side. But cook can customize the food on request. We booked a suite for 3A 1C, an extra mattress was provided. It had a big west side window, but we were late - so couldn't comment on the sunset view. Rooftop restaurant provides nice city view, although some stairs are 1ft+ high. Overall it was a good experience.

Overall a very good experience. Good stay. Good food. Extremely hospitable staff. And an amazing view from the balcony. The cab is not allowed inside the fort and when i called up and asked for the exact location, the owner came and picked up the luggage. That was such a kind gesture and at the time of checkout, he offered that once we are done with our outing, we can call him and he will drop our luggage to the cab then.

Deepak rest house is situated on west side of the fort from where we can watch beautiful sunsets. Also, the manager was super helpful in arranging transport and desert stay. Food is good with rooftop restaurant with great city views. Would definitely recommend to those who are travel-ling to jaisalmer for the first time. Make sure you get the deluxe room with city view.

I had booked for one night.The DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT is located inside the fort.The DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT caretaker received us outside the fort for our luggage transfer to the DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT. The local market inside the fort was very close to the DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT.The food was also awesome.We had breakfast , lunch and dinner.

The location was right inside the fort. It’s pretty and right at the centre of everything. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The only problem was getting our luggage up the cobblestone streets of the fort, as no autos go in during daytime. Overall we liked our stay.

Room was very neat and clean, sukhdev took care of our basic needs, cab booking, etc. Balcony view was awesome. Only one thing we did not liked was food in the DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT, it was not up to the mark, was sweet and oily plus very expensive.

It was overall a great stay. The location of the DEEPAK HOTEL & RESTAURANT is great inside the fort. You can take the bird's eye view of the whole city from the rooftop restaurant. Hotel manager Sukdev Mandal is very very cooperative.

Very nice experience for stay in fort, hospitality is good. Worth of every single penny. Food also available at this place with reasonable rate and good taste.

Beautiful view and very cooperative staff recommended for couples. The sunset from the roof top and bedroom both are splendid. Teh hostel staff is very cooperative from booking cabs to give directions regarding tour of fort.Must visit

Suite great experience but costly due to new year eve(30th dec'24. All the local sightseeing places were nearby. We enjoyed the food too.
