Dekeling hotel

A very nice, clean and cozy place to stay that is also at the starting point of the mall road, just above the famous kunga restaurant. Keventer is also at a stone's throw away. It was a very good experience. I am very happy that i chose to stay here with my family for 4 days. I probably would stay here again. My special gratitude to mr. Saikat banerjee and mr. Vikram moktan. Thanks to their service. Pros: 1) rooms are clean and decorated with wooden furnitures and flooring. Room heater is available. Rooms are not at all moist y even in rainy weather, 2) toilets are clean, 3) no water issue. Hot water is available, 4) service is too good, people are very nice and polite, 5) location-wise very good, 6) food is very good. They also make less spicy food for children, 7) it has very well decorated classy lounges for spending quality time with friends and family. 8) kanchenjunga can be seen from the view rooms and also from the lounges on clear sunny days. Cons: 1) no lift. Need to walk up stairs to reach at the reception. Difficult for aged people. Suggestions: 1) need to put a Dekeling hotel name plate at the out side, at the starting point of the staircase, because it is very much confusing to find the way to reach at the Dekeling hotel reception. 2) they should move the sewer (or whatever is that) away from the entrance of the Dekeling hotel.

The location of the Dekeling hotel is amazing! it is just a few steps from the start of the main market street. Moreover, the ground floor and first floor have amazing restaurants. The view from the hill view rooms is also nice. The Dekeling hotel is located on the third floor, without any lift. Even though carrying luggage is done by the Dekeling hotel staff, climbing could be challenging if you have leg problems. The rooms are small in size compared to price, but this can be considered a premium for the location. We had a bad experience during one of the nights as few other residents were talking loudly till 1 am. As the walls are wooden and surrounding very quite, the sound was very disturbing. I had to confront them directly to make it stop. No Dekeling hotel staff could be found at that time to complain about it. It is better not to opt for complementary breakfast as there are no options except a single dish. It is better to buy it from outside as a lot of good options are available in walking distance.

My room number is 101 there was a big window from the window we can see that he use conjun jaunga in front of me but the sky was to cloud-but the sky was to cloud when i visited the place so there is no kanchenjunga the room is quite small there was no smart tv. Bed was so comfortable. Bathrooms well maintained but geyser is not working on last day. Hotel manager and staff are good.

Me and my family was stayed 19/06 to 23/06 in double bed view room. Stay was very good. View from window was excellent as we are lucky to see full kanchanjangha on last day morning. Only i recommend to improve service and bedding items.

Quite good but had to walk up to 5th floor by stairs otherwise its an awesome property to stay. Senior citizens please avoid

Very good Dekeling hotel. Only drawback it is not fit for aged person. Hotel staffs are quit cordial and helpful.

Very nice stay at this Dekeling hotel. Excellent location. 200 mtrs from mall. Keventers, glenary's, kunga within 100 mtrs. Taxi stand is just in the front. Clean Dekeling hotel. Courteous behaviour of the staff.
