Deodar Manor | Mountain-view Rooms

Very good location, surrounded by hills of deodar and walking distance from khajjiar meadows. We can see pier punjab range of himalayas from the property. Owner mr. Hanut was very cordial and cooperative. The staff mr. Nitin was very pleasant and provided great service. We asked for change of room and it was provided the next day. The food was great and they provided jain food as requested. We can experience heritage home stay. It was very serene and meditative. People generally stay 1-2 days but we stayed for 5 days as we wanted to stay in such place and not crowded place like dalhousie. They provided guide for treks which was great to experience himalayas. So if you or family are looking for quiet and serene place then this is the right place. They have 5 heritage rooms but top right one provides best view and its meditative. They say many great people like ravindra nath tag-ore stayed in that room.

My parents and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were looking for a clean property with fantastic views and Deodar Manor delivered !! The rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean. Trinkets around the house will have you occupied for a major part of the day, the art and heritage pieces are fabulous. The owner Hanut was around to provide additional information on the history of the house- a 120 year old mansion. The food was home made and delectable. Nithin, the care taker took great care of us. The house pet, Shadow , is so gentle and kind that my parents loved spending time with him while soaking in the morning sun. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great view, proximity to the Khajjiar meadow and immaculate service.

Deodar manor is a beautiful place to stay. It is a great getaway for anyone who wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It offers stunning views of the pier panjal and kailash mansarovar mountains. You can also watch paragliding while being in the comfort of your own room. The place offers piping hot, good quality home cooked food so anyone who is looking for spicy and restaurant quality food won’t be thrilled. The quantity of food served it also very good. Nitin ji was an exceptional host and helped us with all our needs throughout our stay at the manor.

This place provides us a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and even the core touristy khajjiar. Its a beautiful house and each piece can be considered a collectible and can say mr. Ha-nut has impeccable taste. The garden, the view, the house. Its just such a serene experience. Loved the food. Such a homely yet amazing tasting food! loved our balcony and the room. There is nothing that can be told a negative here. The host is such a warm man and loved the conversations with team. Entire team is great! do take the treks he suggests. It ll be worthwhile

This is an amazing property. The villa is located just 100 m from the lake overlooking the mountains. Spacious rooms, very large courtyard and a very well decorated seating area. The food is also very good. We opted for breakfast and dinner. Since there aren’t many options for eating out, dinner at the villa is a very good option. The caretaker ( nitin and vishal ) are very helpful and provide amazing service.

Great location and everything about the Deodar Manor | Mountain-view Rooms was exceptional. It was clean, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I stayed in deodar manor for 2 nights with my family. This was my first time experience of homestay and it was great. The property is nice, views are stunning, it has a old world charm and food is home like. Would like to mention about mr. Nitin and his team who were very humble and prompt.

Property was excellent they must fix food grid, we where asked for tea at check in we thought it was welcome drink but they charged on checkout also they charged for starter with soup included in dinner.

Fantastic property with fabulous snow clad mountains view. Very good food, home made like and they take care of guests very well.

I travel-led alot but this is one of the best stay till now. Staff was very humble, soft spoken. Location wise it's best such a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Rustic heritage vibe, clean, homely, amazing dragon cafe food, near khajjiar ground but away from hustle bustle of people, peaceful, with stunning mountain views.
