Nice location, fantastic view of lake Pichhola and lake palace from rooftop. Providing facilities are good. Room and toilet are clean, but bathroom is small.

Location was good. However, room was not good which destroyed my planning.
Worst situation. Behaviour was not good. Extra charge demanded for bed.

It's all false as the foto of hotel given in Internet is not it's own no water no room service no other eminities as givenvin make my trip site no Wi-Fi they shut the electricity it's all chi ting. So guys never and never book this hotel

I wanted a room with lake view, and Devi Vilas has a good one that I got for a good price through MakeMyTrip. The room was nice, but they forgot to include a waste basket. They said they would correct that for the next guest. I tried three times to use the restaurant. The first time, around 3pm, no one was there to take orders or serve. At about 9:45, I wanted a late night lassi, but was told they only had special lassis" at that time. I asked what that was, and was informed it included cannabis. The third time, I went for breakfast and was told that nothing on the menu was available except toast and eggs. The place also has a sign that touts their "hooka room". When I went to the front desk in the evening, the person there looked like he had been partaking as well.

The guest house is located next to Bagore ki Haveli and Gangaur ghat. The rooms and linen are clean. Their staff were courteous and ready to help. It's a great place to dig your face after a hectic day and best of all is that its pocket friendly! Highly recommended if you are on a budget.

Staff is unaware about online booking. It's OK if you get it for a price under 400 and if you are single because even he took 15min to just fill the registration details and while check out he even asked me to give a call to owner so that he could confirm about pre payment.

Very good price. Very good service. Very nice staff. Very good situation near of lake Pichola, City palace, Museum and all the shops. This guesthouse is a little oasis in the heart of the old city. Simply the best for to enjoy this city. Go on the roof top. I am sure you will appreciate a lot this terrasse.

This place was one of the best place I stayed in my trip. Just near the lake and all the touristic place inside the old city. The view from rooftop was mind-blowing and the manager was also very nice. Guided us about all the places and also helped us in booking the taxis and rickshaws for nearby travel. Thank you Arvind.

My stay was wonderful. The manager and staff member made it more special. The rooftop is the most amazing place in the guest house clean, nice and peaceful. The rooms were also good. Nice bed and comfortable sleep. Will recommend it for sure. Best value for money.

We stayed in Devi Vilas for 2 day but really good staff and manager nature is very good. If you come Udaipur with family, this is a good option for stay in Rajasthan. Location of this hotel is nice and rooftop restaurants are good but not properly maintained. Overall this is the best option to stay in Udaipur.

booked through MAKE MY TRIP. on arrival reception guy was drunk and said he has no room left. called Make My Trip and they said they will arrange for another hotel. but I asked for refund and I got it. location is very congested no cars allowed because of narrow street. has to park my car 1 km away.

only good part of the hotel is the terrace restaurant, nothing else, not worth staying.

You should not expect much from this hotel. The quality of room is just acceptable which is commensurate with the price you are paying for. For one night I would recommend this hotel. But, if planning to stay longer pay a bit more to find a better accommodation in Udaipur.
