The Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay is located inside a lane. But the distance from jallianwala bagh is 4 minutes walk and from gurudwara golden temple it is 8 minutes. The room provided was spacious, well lit and clean. There was also an extra single bed for my 5 year old child. The toilet was also clean and medium sized with geyser working. Though the entrance and passage area wasn't that great to look at the rooms were above expectation in comparison. The Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay staff were very courteous and cooperative. We checked out at 11 am and they kept our luggage safely in a separate room while we were out for tour for 3 to 4 hours. It's worth trying this budgeted Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay.

Pros: -the host was kind and well-behaved. -the host arranged dinner for us even late at night 11:00 pm. -the Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay is located very close to jallianwala bagh and golden temple ( walking distance. Cons: - we had a late night check-in, and though our host was well informed about this our rooms were not ready and we had to wait for atleast 30mins. This was very poor and unprofessional. - there were no electric kettle available in the rooms. - the passage had a strange smell. - there is no kitchen present in the Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay and they got breakfast from outdoor restaurant or street vendors. There were no issue other than this.

The stay was good as the place is very close to the golden temple. But the heater in the washroom was not working and they did not even provide a solution when we informed them about this during our stay. The staffs were very friendly. We had to find stairs till second floor as the Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay does doesn’t have any elevator it was very difficult for my parents as they are in their 60s. Room needs some improvement. The room provided was a smaller one.

Hotel is good, price is reasonable and most importantly the behavior of the staff was excellent and very helpful. It is located hardly 5 minutes away from golden temple and Jallianwalabagh memorial. AC dormitory available and room too. Room sizes are big and 4 guests can be accommodated easily with extra bed. Rooms and toilets are clean. Overall it's a good Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay at reasonably better price.

Once again I booked dorm and best experience this time best, time Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay staff is so humbel and nice, neat and clean Devista Hotel | Rooms in a Homestay, best thing is they give first perfrence to guest instead of other things.
