Diamond Cottage | Rooms & Caretaker

I stayed at this property from 16-18th august and it was a good experience. The owner (deepak ji) is very helpful and is a great person who will assist you with whatever queries or any help you require during your stay there. The 2 main drawbacks are the property is a bit interior from the main road and if you don't have a personal/hired vehicle you will need to go by walking to the main road for any small things that you need. Suggestion: please provide a mini fridge for the guests as it will be helpful for them to store any beverage instead of constantly asking the host to store it in their personal fridge.

Our stay at dimond cottage was nothing short of magical. It was a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and hospitality that provided a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat to rejuvenate or a base to explore the natural beauty of alibaug, this cottage is a choice you won't regret. The hosts uncle was exceptional in his hospitality. He was very attentive and made sure to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing local tips and arranging for any requests we had. The personal touches in their service made us feel more like guests than customers.

The cottage is located in a quaint neighbourhood and is located at a walking distance from varsoli beach. I travel-led with my parents and stayed for 2 nights. The owner deepak ji and his wife were friendly, warm and helpful. Deepak ji has good connects with auto rickshaw and taxi drivers who took us around varsoli and surrounding areas comfortably. The breakfast served was fresh and tasty. The cottage has a lovely garden so we got to witness some lovely blooms. Even if you are not staying on the second floor, do visit the terrace once. The scenery is worth a glance. Will surely visit again.

Property location was perfect as varsoli beach was at walking distance and alibagh beach was also just 3-4 km. Breakfast was free and fresh. Caretaker helped alot and he is a nice person, they will provide you rikshawala's number and can book food at room, overall great for family.

Good place to stay, nice view excellent service, rooms are specious with cleaned bathrooms. Cottage owner is really helpful. Whenever you will visit alibaug you must try suruchi restaurant if you are vegetarian which is 2km from cottage. Suggested by cottage owner

Had an excellent stay at diamond cottage. Good, spacious room, superb hospitality. Place is 1-2 kms away from varsoli, alibaug beach. They have decent space for bike parking. Only issue was that, had to go downstairs every time to arrange for drinking water.

Clean and neat property and the owner of the property itself is staying in this property and very helpful l and gives good breakfast. Like the room and service of the property. Everyday cleaning and changing of towel and bed sheets.

We had a very peaceful stay at diamond cottage. Our room was clean, and very well maintained. Deepak ji is a generous host, much like a friend who looked after all our needs. Will definitely recommend this place.

Homestay was excellent. Room hygine and home made food was good. Owner is retd uncle who has maintained the property in a very good shape and was very considerate and cooperative with the guests.

Simple. Clean and friendly property. Owner is very cooperative and provide excellent breakfast as complimentary.

The room was neat and tidy. The host was really friendly and made the place feel like home. Breakfast provided was tasty and healthy as well.

Good and safe place. Friendly staff. Breakfast is good. The only problem is to find an o la or uber.

It was a great experience, will recommend others also, there is terrace and sliding so that view can be enjoyed.
