Dolphin Beach Resort

Excellent exeperience, lovely private beach! felt that was the best beach in whole havelock, don't get me wrong radhanagar beach is realllly beautiful but in terms of peace and serenity this private beach is best. Slept for 2 hours in hammock near this beach with absolute relaxation. The property was big and beautiful. Staff were very polite and understanding. Our checkout was at 8. 30am but they extended our checkout time for 1pm approx without any issue. All in all i will definitely stay at this resort, felt like this is the best experience you can get for the money you pay. I paid per night but it was worth it, our rooms were right beside reception and it was also near the beach just few steps and you can access the beach. The view also had beach view although it wasnt clear as glass view was clear enough to enjoy the peacefulness. The view "a peek through trees with a clear view of hammock and beach"

The only property which can beat this one is Sea Shell otherwise Dolphin beach resort must be on the top of your preferences to stay in Havelock. It’s a government owned property. It’s located on Vijaynagar beach. There are three types of room, Standard (₹+taxes) Deluxe (₹+taxes) and VIP (₹+taxes). You’ve to book the rooms a bit early because this resort is very high in demand. If you’re lucky enough then you might get a room after reaching there. No matter which room you take, the beach is just 2 minutes away. They have a Bar and Restaurant also which is very good. They also organise candle light dinner if you inform the restaurant in advance. Breakfast is also complimentary. I’ve been to Havelock two times and both the times I stayed in Dolphin Beach Resort. It’s highly recommended.

I found this Dolphin Beach Resort from social media like youtube, stayed in delux room. Delux and above categories are recommended. Overall very good service. Pros 1. Location is calm with private beach. 2. You can see the beaches from most of the room. 3. Very well maintained garden. 4. Cab service provided by Dolphin Beach Resort at nominal price. Also in the Dolphin Beach Resort gate you get bike, scooter and car rental. 5. Room size and bathroom is quite bigger. Cons : limited breakfast item. Improvement for Dolphin Beach Resort can be to include bath tub swiming pool. Highly recommended. Choose your room categories as per your comfort and budget.

The resort is a very well maintained property with a really long private beach, though a large section is rocky, you'll still find the section of beach where you can swim. The location is excellent, very close to all the outside restaurants, diving centres and kalapathar beach. You can even rent a bike or cab right outside the resort. Regarding the resort's restaurant, the food is very good at very reasonable prices. We ate mostly here only. The room was very very basic, without room service, mini fridge, hair drier, ancient furniture, tv without channels/other videos source. If you manage with a basic room then the resort by itself is good.

This is the place i'd stay again. The food is great. The ambience and the location is gold and the facility is well maintained. It's no give star but it's better than all 3 stars you'll find. It also has great scuba places nearby. The staff the bar and the location overall are perfect. The rooms have that old government wood feels to them but it's also one where everything is quite practically available. The premium rooms are highly recommended for the ones not on budget. The only correction i'd recommend is that the menu says 500ml aerated drink while what they provide us 250ml can. That needs to be corrected.

The usp of the place is its location & ambience. Very beautiful cottages with sea view it's an experience to relish. You should always ask for the sea facing cottages & u will only be a stone throw away from the most beautiful turquoise water of the bay of bengal. Rooms are clean & the service is really good. But the free breakfast was very minimalistic in its content & the restaurant is expensive specially in relation to the quantity of food served. So the restaurant is very disappointing.

Awesome views, spacious rooms with glass panel-led walls that give an awesome view of the havelock shoreline. Centrally located n close to all the restaurants, beaches, dive point, jetty. Food is good but service not great as u need to eat at restaurant n no room service ! but considering it’s a govt property, it is the best u can get. Very well maintained. Food is good. Homemade chocolate ice cream is better than any other! superb stay !

The resort has a private beach which is the best feature apart from the overall structure of the resort. You can pass the time within the property itself. However, menu options are limited and rooms (standard and deluxe) are average at best. The staff is really very helpful. Overall, best property if you can compromise on room quality but when in havelock, you will mostly be outside so does not matter much

Undoubtedly the best location. It has the longest beach and what a beach. You won’t feel like going to any other beach after this. It’s enough. The food is also good. The rooms are neat but could be well equipped. The restaurant staff could have been a little more courteous. The oceanic bar is awesome. Overall l a lovely property at this rate.

Stay is good. I feel it is overhyped. I am not saying it is bad because i have seen many resorts with more amenities and also better view and at affordable price.

Property is fantastic really loved staying there for couple of days. Private beach is really nice. Only restaurant food is bit overpriced.

No words to describe this beautiful island and resorts. Really loved 😍 this place. You can spend and enjoy your whole life in this 🥰 beautiful place. The only thing missing is the room service of the resort. But you can forget the small issues The rest is very good.

Service at the resort was good. Property is also huge and they have lots of potential to make it good. Room interior can be improved and they can work on the beach front which is again amazing but under utilized.

Large rooms, good food, sea facing, great value for money - got their deluxe room. Its a big resort with plenty of space to roam around

A beautiful property with clean rooms. Staff is very cooperative. The food at the restaurant was also very good. They customised it as per our instructions. Overall good stay.
