"staying at downtown hostel in leh was an absolute delight! the location couldn't be more perfect, right in the heart of the vibrant downtown area. The hostel itself exudes warmth and hospitality, with clean and cozy rooms that make you feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, offering valuable local tips and always ready with a friendly smile. The common areas were inviting, fostering a sense of community among fellow travelers. Plus, the rooftop terrace provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and leh palace. Without a doubt, downtown hostel is the ideal base for exploring all that leh has to offer. Highly recommend"

The location in within a clumsy lane and reaching the place in a vehicle is a far possibility. You have to walk for around 1km to reach it. However, everything else about the property is great. Hospitable staff, the view from the rooftop, rooftop restaurant, the proximity to kashi viswanath temple, the cleanliness and courteousness of the staffs-all superb. Hence a 5star.

The rooms were clean but the toilet seat was broken. There is a cafeteria on top with a lot of games and open area but they did not have proper food options the people there were confused if they have anything to serve we ended up ordering omelette which didn't have salt in it. Excluding the food overall stay was pleasant.

The downtown hostel has a lot of very nice common spaces to meet fellow travelers, the people who work it are very helpful and accommodating with great tea. The food is good and tea is great. The location has a great view however you have to walk up the hill from the main market if you walk.

Welcoming host and what a comfortable stay! nice clean bed and a friendly staff that will help you settle well. The terrace area was my fave place and you can see the shanti stupa from there. Even though it was a short stay, i profoundly remember it. Everything is provided for otherwise too.

At this cost very nice Downtown Hostel | Rooms & Cafe the only thing was with separate room also the washrooms are outside overall experience was very good nice staff welcoming vibe food not recommended instead try neha snacks nice food

Nice view with very friendly and hard working staffs. The common area was too good and with roof top.

Stay was excellent and very comfortable. The hostel is very clean with good and courteous staff. Centrally located and walkable distance to the main leh market.

The stay was totally worth it. It was comfortable as the rooms had comfortable beds, overall the hostel was clean and the people here are very welcoming.

People are great and the location is amazing. Best affordable stay for groups with games and books and tasty food.

Our stay was very good and relaxing. We didn't felt that we are new to this place. Everything was good including the staff and their behavior. We will look forward visiting once again. Thanks

The staff members are exceedingly helpful and courteous. The cuisine had a homemade flavorful taste and prepared fresh when ordered.
