Dream Catcher Plantation

We had an amazing time at dream catcher room - very spacious with modern amenities. There is no air conditioner but you won't need it as it's at a height and is cool throughout the day campus - a sea of green! the infinity pool is aptly decorated with pretty lights and they have a bonfire on top. (it was very windy and the bonfire blew smoke everywhere, but it's the only space for it so cannot help it) accessibility - it is at the top of a hill and the last 3 km was very steep. Do not rent a scooty. Rather rent a car or a bike with good power. Food - it was decent although they did not have the entire menu to offer. Since it's at a remote place, many items on the menu was not available. The last day they had a buffet and it was sumptuous! staff - very cooperative, warm and friendly. They accommodated all our needs especially assuring us of a back-up transport in case our early morning cab got cancel-led due to any reason. Amenities - they have horseback riding and polaris jeep ride which is priced reasonably. The spa facilities were good too! the only con is that it's situated far from munnar center and you will find it tiresome to travel and sightsee. Typically takes about 60-80 minutes to get to the main town. If you plan to book a stay here, i would recommend that you stay for 2 days and enjoy the campus rather than travel to other areas.

Overall it was a good experience at dream catcher resort. We stayed there for 2 days. Rooms: good and spacious. Provided extra bed and was able to get the room before time. No waiting period food: we took breakfast and dinner along with room package. Lunch we ordered separately. Food was awesome and all were too good. Even my kids enjoyed it. Can add some more items for buffet. Kids play area: it's not a if area but bad enough item for kids to play around. You need to walk a little bit from the main area to reach. They also had horse ride, and can opt for a trip around the resort. Road: worst part is the road to the resort. Sign board was too small and hence we lost the way in between and the road to the resort could have been made better. It was a little difficult to reach there with the family. You should be a little bit expert on driving, as it's a little steep and turning also u cannot drive it in a single stretch. Behavior: staff support was very good at reception, cafeteria, room service and rest of the support staff. Overall: it's a nice place to stay for a couple of days with family. Enough space to roam around the resort.

The stay was awesome in terms of facilities. Pros The ambiance is good The swimming pool is really wonderful The location is beautiful, truly feel like in the middle of a jungle! The top viewpoint is really the beauty of the resort from where we can See the mountain peaks and the Road we traveled from Munnar Plantation walk is relaxing to both mind and eyes Dinner and breakfast were delicious in terms of items and taste. The reception was warm with the welcome drink and the lady in the reception was very helpful. She explained each and everything in detail.Reaching the location is terrible. If you go by maps, you will end up reaching no where through pocket roads. But the Dream Catcher Plantation people will call you in the day of arrival in advance to guide on the route. Please stick on to their words and travel.
The Bath mat was not good. Also, the bathroom could have more air circulation so that the foul smell would go away.

I have stayed for two days. The property and the staff was very good. However, location is very far from other tourist attractions and the only source of entertainment and food is solely the resort facility itself. However, resort charges for all facilities like horse ride and Polaris. Food we have to be dependent in them due to remoteness of location. One tea will cost a lot despite having their own tea Plantation. They should moderately charge food and make Polaris and horse ride complimentary as a courtesy to guests. Also pool timing is up to 6pm is illogical since there isn't much activity to do there other than pool. Location is a little off-road and remote. Contact their reception for a alternative and better road. Overall nice experience if you stay for one day. 2nd day will be boring if you stay more than a day. Hotel management should consider reducing dining expenses and giving complimentary Polaris and horse ride.

Stay was very nice. We reached Munnar by August 23rd, climate was good. Not too rainy. We stayed in tree house. Breakfast provided by them was awesome. From Munnar Town its almost 22 km to reach Dream Catcher Plantation. After reaching Munnar Town, contact the staff for proper route. To reach Munnar town there is a bridge which we have to cross but that was under work when we went so we were supposed to travel more than 25 km to reach Munnar Town. Staff was friendly. They have their own spices plantations too. Horse riding and polaris ride is available. Altogether Dream Catcher Plantation will give you a peaceful and memorable stay.

We stayed for one day. The resort is around 20 km away from munnar town and it will be difficult to go for exploring Munnar staying here but the resort itself require one or two days for exploring. Resort is located in a tea plantation filled with orange trees . Ambiance of the resort is really nice. We stayed in honeymoon cottage, it was clean and spacious in my opinion don't go for tree house as honeymoon cottage is same as tree house with same view, lower cost and facilities. This resort is worth exploring. I feel best time to visit this resort would be November to January.

Enjoyed the stay at the resort. Location was really good and can spend hours together watching the beauty of nature. Swimming pool is well placed and the view from watch tower is mind blowing. Few Tips: 1. Once you check in the resort, do not plan to go out for site seeing as the resort is almost 1 hour away from the city centre. Roads are very tough. 2. If the budget allows, go for tree houses with a plantation view. It is worth. Even for budgeted rooms, go for rooms in 300 series (3rd floor).

Everything was great during our stay. The Dream Catcher Plantation is located slightly outside main Munnar town. But, that's fine. We planned our trip that way leisure peaceful stay in a plantation resort. Everything went well and smooth right from the herbal tea welcome drink up to the smooth check out procedure. We loved the swimming pool, walk around the plantation in the early morning, amidst the sounds of insects and birds. The room was clean, staffs are polite and food is great as well.

A wonderful stay with a refreshing atmosphere and climate. The spa was good, need to change the food menu, typical north indian menu, not many options available. Very good staff. Very nice infinity pool. The tree house doesn't have cloth racks. We struggled to hang dress. Overall a very good stay.

Had a pleasant stay. The behaviour of staff is good. Location is amazing and very nice. Polaris ride is really amazing.

The stay was very much relaxing. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The service given by staffs at the resort was very much pleasing and heart warming. The way they treated kids was really good.

We booked deluxe room, it was good, clean and romantic. View is super, pool is excellent and staff was very helpful Food prize is bit over, you book with breakfast and dinner combo is best and you are planning to enjoy pool please take tracksuit dress otherwise that too paid. Overall good ambiance, good view, good food, good staff.

Rooms are well cleaned, service is excellent, great and yummy food, and some bathroom accessories are missing, like handwash, face towel and more over net connection is little poor.
