Location -good on the highway. Near by around 10-20 min average reach to all famous temple. Food - average or below average but not bad i would say. I am pure authentic south indian so my expectations are high. Amenities - standard room for a family with one child. Toilets are clean. Value for your budget. Service - good service and staffs are good.

Very pleasant reception and cordial staff. Room was very good in all aspects. Restaurant staff were very cooperative and especially one mr pandian in the restaurant attended patiently to all our queries and solved. Not many items were available during dinner at 8pm. Quality of idly and dosa can be improved. Overall an excellent stay!

We had the opportunity to stay for a day on way up and yet another day on return. The DSR MADHANAM INN is near the highway. But arrangement for food is there. One can have a sumptuous food for a cost. Complimentary breakfast was also there. Rooms are good and just enough to accommodate two to three. Excellent stay.

For visiting temples around kumbakonam, i chose madhanam inn. It is located just outside the town but easy to. Navigate using car. The facility is very good. Hospitality, quality of the room, parking space, restaurant are very good
