Dumas Guest House, Pondicherry

We stayed at dumas guest house for a day in mar24. Some of the key highlights, at least to our personal liking were as follows. 1. Excellent location: you can walk down to the beach and promenade in just one minute. 2. Feel : we have travel-led worldwide and thus can say that the feel of the place is good. Its given an olden charm of a traditional house. The ambience is brightly coloured, and looks nice 3. Rooms: i cant say about all rooms but the one we stayed in that is room no. 6 was large enough for four people. Bathroom was large and clean. May note that it only provides for breakfast inhouse. Lunch and dinner you have to mange outside. Just opposite to the guest house on the beach road, you may find good eateries, so this is not a real issue.

The stay was really good. They gave us neat rooms and all amenities were provided with. The staff was cooperative and helpful. The stay had a classic heritage feel and ambience and i would recommend it to anyone interested in travel-ling to pondicherry. Needless to mention that the location was also very close to the beach and hence convenient

We had a wonderful three nights stay at dumas guest house. It was a charming heritage property. Very nice and friendly owner and staff. We loved our homely breakfast each day. The best part is its excellent location just 2 mins walk from the promenade beach front. Most of the famous eateries and restaurants were within 5-10 mins walk.

The guest house is run by a 70 year old affable and nice lady She keeps supervising. The rooms in the property have a quaint vibe, and are full of old world charm. Nice place, very good location and well mannered staff.

A very pleasant stay at Dumas guest house. The best part is that it is close to explore all the places. Very beautiful place to stay with all the beautiful plants around. Very well maintained property. Had a great stay.

The property is maintained well. Staff maintaining the property are polite and helpful. Only breakfast is offered by the property. The location is prime and you reach all the key points of pondi within ten minutes.

A true pondicherry feel. It was a neat place to stay with very helpful staff. A prime location and being close to beach is such a great vibe. A really nice breakfast as well. Overall a great experience!

The Dumas Guest House, Pondicherry was good well maintained and comfortable rates are lit-tile high drawback is no parking no kitchen. And mosquetos

Very neat and spacious room. Very near to the beach. Staff was very courteous. Lot of eateries nearby. They don’t have car parking. You can park in the street which may be tricky sometimes

Nice place with courteous staff but below average breakfast room was clean wash room also were alright electric fittings were primitive but furniture was old and beautiful
