Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel)

Had a pleasant stay. Hospitable Hotel staffs and officials. Here are the pro and few cons of our stay Pros Amazing location. To be close to River Ganga with view of the ghats, this is a great place. Moreover, it is part of the same heritage building as the Brijrama palace Hotel, but that section is better maintained or organized to be more luxurious, and this one is more on the budget Side, but with similar good view. The view of the ghats from some of the rooms are beautiful and reason enough to add extra charm and memories to my stay. Some photos taken from the balcony of one of the rooms should speak it. Nice hospitable and friendly staffs, as mentioned. Close to Dasashwamedh and Kashi Vishwanath ghats, few of the the primary ghats in Varanasi. You have to walk inside the narrow ways and gully s from the main Road to reach this place, as it is just beside the River ghat, at about 500 meter from main Road. Felt like another charming experience, as it gave the true feeling of Varanasi, apart from ghats and many man dirt, shag us and other vibrancy of the place. Again, this could be based on preference of one, as the gully s are quite narrow and only 2-wheelers can go through these paths and mostly walk able. Cons Had some minor problems due to rats in the room that was initially provided, which felt a bit troubling and 1 less star to that, but again Hotel officials were prompt enough to change room and provide convenient room. Could have added half star to this. Some of the rooms might feel bit close, because they are part of the heritage building, but again only if that can be improved for these few of the rooms.

The Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is situated just on Rana mahal ghat. Thus u can enjoy the Ganga view from their restaurant and your room ( if you book river facing room. However, for that u need to walk almost for 8 to 10mins through Benares gali to reach the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) . Walking is the only option to reach there, every time you come out and return. That's the worst part. Otherwise, the staff is nice and helpful. They will guide you out to the main roads whnever required. Rooms are small comparatively. I had booked damru suite. The suite is not like a regular suite but just a normal room. The balcony was too small with a low-height wall. Hence, barely used it. Food at restaurants is costly compared to other Benares outlets (decent ones. Complimentary bf had few options. Not a vast menu offered. The rooms were clean. The service was good. Considering the price, the entire stay was not worth it. Only thing u can consider is the ganga view which is no doubt awesome.

It was a pleasant stay at elan a Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) . The staff was very cooperative and room service was good. But i would like to suggest a idea request to the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) management about the location of Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) . As the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is far from main road and no vehicle facilities are there still it is very near to the ghat, so my suggestion is that pls make proper arrangements to the way to the ghat i. E by making light arrangement at your own level, cleanliness of the street going to the ghat, it will be really helpful for the visitors/guests(family visitors. Hoping for some good changes in my next visit. Thank you.

Location of dwivedi, varanasi is beautiful. We could see gangaji from our room. It was on the ghat. Only problem was that it is very far from the main road. The small lanes are crooked, dirty and uneven. It was difficult for senior citizens like my husband to walk the long lanes to reach Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) . The wheelchair persons are also very expensive. The food and hospitality of the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is very good. We suggest that the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) should arrange for a lift from Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) to ghat as the steps to reach ghat are extremely steep.

Hotel is well maintained, clean and staffs are polite and efficient. The Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is beside the 64 ghat and the rana mahal ghaat hence the view is absolutely beautiful. Even if you dont stay in the ghat view room, you can just go to the balcony outside and get the view. But, the only issue is you have to walk around 1. 5kms from the auto stand. The road is narrow and filled with garbage in the corners so carrying the luggage to the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) becomes really difficult. Other than that its a very good Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) .

Location - excellent. Its main attraction is location. Its near to dasaswamedh ghat 100m. So anyone can just walk and see ganga aarti. Its 1 km from temple dwar no. 2. Food- awesome food with good quality facilities- staff will be available 24hrs to guide us through the galis of banaras in case you want to go to other places. They carry all the luggage and walk you from Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) to auto stand and vice verso

We reached varanasi and then we got a call from Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) to pickup the luggage from the godolia to Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) . Supportive staff, food can be improved, nice location. Best part of trip is guddu ji (we visited all the temples, kashi chaat, madhur jalpan, sankat mochan hanuman ji temple, pehalwan lassi and many more because of guddu ji only)

Hotel is located on the bank of Ganga, excellent view from balcony. We enjoyed a lot. It took quite time to reach into the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) as the lane was narrow and dirty. Room service was good and Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) staff are very much cooperative and provide proper guidance for our needs.

Hotel was just at the banks of river with the gang-es visible from tiny adjacent balcony. Room was spacious, clean and value for money.

Good for every aspect. Room is good, veiw is well as beside ganga, food is good and lastly behavior is very good.

Best place in varanasi at this price range. Suites are amazing the view the vibe everything

Excellent, responding timely, need improvement in early morning house keeping in galleries, around Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) , this is due to guest are taking round early in the morning.

Staff is super helpful every moment you need help and even before u arrive staff guides you to avoid mistakes which makes your stay much pleasant. Great location near rana mahal ghat riverside and fantastic restaurant. Rooms are well maintained and clean.

Very nice place, prime location, well behaved staffs and most importantly its river view rooms/balconies (rooms are small but can ignore it for view)

We booked the kashi suite of Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) elena. It had a fabulous view from the window. The best part was sunrise from bed. The staffs were very helpful

The Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is located on the bank of river Ganga but to reach the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is tough particularly for elderly people. Either you have to walk through a narrow and dirty lane or big stepping stairs. The service of the Dwivedi Hotels (Elena Hotel) is not good.

Overall experience is good. Nature of staff are excellent. Food quality is good. Only problem is entrance from main road is to much gali. Nobody can not reach without any support overall it is good
