Eagles Dare Adventure Camp

Eagles Dare Adventure Camp is a place not for everyone. It is for those who really love Adventure and who are fit and have absolutely no health issues or are not sick. This place is situated on the foothills of Doddabetta right next to the tea factory, so the Campsite made on the inclines of a hill makes it necessary for those who want to stay there to be able to do the uphill climbing/walking frequently throughout the stay. Having said that, those who are fit, especially youngsters and children may just love it. You get to See a Grand view of almost the entire Ooty Town from the Campsite and also the huge scenic mountains and Hills. The view is really beautiful from up there. The Camp has a lot of activities like zip line, sky walks, wall climbing, etc. While they are costly, those who stay in the Camp have some discount. I was unfortunately not aware of the same and so I missed out on the discount for the combo activity ticket I purchased. The staff there is very courteous and helpful. I actually needed help with early check in and late check out both and they courteously took the custody of my luggage and looked after it even as they were busy with their adventure activities. Really did all he could to make our stay more comfortable as I was with a family and he tried to keep us safe and secure. The Camp facilities are nice. The toilet was clean and had provision for hot water. The tents had sleeping bags so most people should not actually feel much cold during the nighttime. Food is not available in the Camp itself. You have to get it from the outside through people running the Camp. One additional unexpected thrilling thing was that an uninvited visitor, an indian bison was a regular visitor during the nighttime who loved to graze on the fresh green grass spread across the Camp. We were informed about the bison the evening we reached there and I got a chance to See the bison in action early next morning. Just make sure if you get to See a bison, do not try to intimidate or disturb it, and it would go away without bothering you. I would recommend this Camp especially for the youngsters who love Adventure activities and who want to stay in a Camp. Even for the people traveling with the family, if you are fit and love Adventure then you could certainly try this place. I am sure you would not feel disappointed at all. I really enjoyed my short stay there and so did my entire family. I wish they adjust their check-in and check-out timings for the families with kids to make life easier for the families or make some alternate arrangements for the families.

At first I was having second thoughts about choosing a other tentover a conventional Eagles Dare Adventure Camp option in Ooty. Specific concerns were food, cleanliness, and most importantly cold. But stay at eagles dare gave a camping experience without me having to compromise with hygiene or other basic amenities. Bon fire to restaurant food, everything was arranged inside/beside the tent itself. Geysers fitted was room were a bane. Though the stay wasn't a posh one, we did taste the flavours of camping. Will surely recommend this for all adventure lovers.

The staff was very friendly, they provide all the conveniences, the property is very clean and one can have their privacy. This was my 2nd tour at this place and they have cut all the trees, which I don't like, we need to carry an extension box with us as there is only one socket. But the room was very comfortable and the City view at night was very marvelous. I can surely recommend this Camp as it is the best Camp in Ooty.

We booked and the same was as per booked nothing less. Ample location and perfect for both couples and bachelors. Family too can visit. Shall stay a night. Thank you team.

Everything was good in the property. Only the problem with the food, as they didn't provide food facilities. If the food facility will be added then the stay experience will be great. The location was far away from the Ooty but, it was a peaceful place. A recommendable property.

Being at Ooty one needs to view the Hills and the clouds both can be experienced from this camp site, food is available on order and it tastes good, bonfire and barbecue facility is available.

The staff was really helpful. I have been here before and I really like it. The wash-room and all were also very clean. And the location was also easily approachable.

Be ready to Camp in a heaven.

It was a trip with friends. We enjoyed being here at this place. The room was congested as they provided us only one room accommodation between six people.

Amazing location! Has the City view Camps are maintained well! Hospitality is excellent!
