Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri

I stayed with my wife and nephew on 12th november 2021. Pros: 1. Views of mountains from the Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri lawns are very good. 2. Food is amazing - you will be pampered on the food front. 3. Service is very good. Cons: 1. This is located in a remote area. You will have to travel around 45 minutes from kufri main road on the kufri chail road. 2. There is 2. 5 km of off-road track to be navigated (of which around 100 meters is pretty rough) which may not be easy for many drivers. If you hire a taxi, ensure that the driver is a skilled one. A. Lso, you need to ensure that you reach the Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri before dark 3. Hotel provides a wi-fi but it is very very slow - and other wi-fi hotspots also do not work properly. 4. Although Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri provides spectacular views - the views are not good throughout the year. For example, during my visit, the monsoon had ended and the grass had all died out due to cold weather and the Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri lawns and views were quite drab. 5. Hotel does not provide room heaters - i think due to electricity supply problems. Electricity was coming and going frequently. So one has to stay padded up inside the room also during winters.

A beautiful resort property with a wonderful view of the valley, calm, quiet and picturesque. We took the stone cottage rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and well heated using lpg heaters. The property also has a beautiful lawn overlooking the valley, and a very well maintained restaurant area. What also impressed us was the eager to please staff, who happily complied to all requests, be it late serving of dinner, organising bon fires at short notice, etc. Mr. Chirag ji ensured our stay was more than comfortable, he managed all our taxis and other chore request. Will recommend echor for a vacation with family & friends.

The koti village resort is one beautiful properties to stay in chail. If you’re someone who likes peace and need a place beyond the hustle bustle of shimla streets. Then this place is for you. A very beautiful resort with an amazing view situated in the kota village near chail. You need to drive for about 3-4km on a mud-trail single lane which would need an experienced driver to reach there. But it’s worth the wait! talking about the food, they’ve got homestyle food and very tasty! the staff is also very friendly and helpful!

The property is remotely located near shimla. Shimla is so crowded these days, so we decided to stay somewhere off-beat. This place is as good as it looks in the pictures. The last few miles were a little rough to drive, but once you reach the property, it's simply great. Loved the hospitality and the rooms are very beautiful. A must visit place near shimla region.
Basic covid precautions were in place. Thermal checks, sanitization etc. The staff was well informed about the pandemic and how to take precautions.

Best property if you plan to visit kufri. Its 3. 5 hours journey from chandigarh, we started quite eraly in morning so din't get any traffic on the way. We reached early so didnt find any trouble in last 2. 5kms forest road. After reaching property we ordered snacks, so cook was very courteous who made as per our customization. View from the property is very awesome. Especially sunset. Staff was very kind and polite. And property is pet friendly, although our dog was small. Great weekend option near chandigarh.

make sure you book for atleast two days. one night stay isn't enough to capture the beauty and calmness of this place. stone cottages are simply awesome, everything including Location, food, services, rooms, amenities and views way more then great. it is just 25 minutes from kufri zoo and hardly 90 minutes from shimla mall road. manager Pradeep was very courteous and so as other staff. near to chail and similar from the kufri. it has 360° view and the sunset is unexpectedly beautiful.

Being a happy guest, i felt super comfortable, will certainly stay again & recommend surely. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms but the thing that makes this property a better place to stay is the staff. Staff was incredibly helpful and generous with their time & advice. Property is well maintained and clean linens are provided. Great experience.
Sanitization for the rooms and common areas.

Truly a quaint and tranquil holiday property. Anyone would fall in love with the scenic location. Staff do their best to make your stay comfortable and most importantly they do it with a smile. And if you consider the wilderness drive of 2 kms that you did to arrive here, then you will love and appreciate the hospitality even more that they are able to deliver at such remote location.

The location of Echor | The Koti Village Resort Kufri as per mm t was near ridge shimla, that was the reason we booked this resort. But after booking when we got the voucher we noticed it is 32 kms from shimla. And the booking was non refundable. That was the worst experience in terms of location with regards to nake my trip. And i feel it is total fault of mm t only.

Echor kalpa experience was amazing. Great hospitality. Their terrace rooms are amazing with a great views. Highly recommended.

This nature resort is probably one of the best, places to spend your weekend with family. Cottages with open space and vast mountains is one experience. This is a secluded property with best services.

Beautiful location and awesome food, loved the stay and really would love to recommend others. Cons: the stone cottages are too close to each others, sometimes if there are children's on the next cottage you get to listen all of them playing around all the time.
