EDM Hostel

I recently stayed at EDM Hostel in Upper Dharamkot, and it was an incredible experience! The location is stunning, perched at 6900 feet with breathtaking views of the mountains and lush greenery. Waking up to the serene beauty of nature and enjoying my morning coffee in their cozy wooden stay was a highlight of my trip. The food was excellent—delicious, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Whether it was the hearty breakfast or the flavorful meals at the restaurant, everything was spot on. Their in-house bar was another treat, offering a great selection of drinks, cocktails, and happy hour specials. The parties at EDM Hostel are truly next-level. They organize amazing events with some of the best DJs and artists, featuring genres like techno, house, psytrance, and more. The energy, music, and vibe were unmatched, making every night a celebration. What makes EDM Hostel stand out even more is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. They go out of their way to make sure every guest feels comfortable and welcomed, and their enthusiasm adds to the vibrant atmosphere. If you're looking for a place with great food, awesome music, fantastic parties, and stunning views, EDM Hostel is the place to be. Highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Dharamshala!

We didn’t try the food there so can’t speak for it. In terms of the location, EDM hostel is located at the very top of Upper Dharamkot on top of a steep hill. What is not mentioned is that for the last 200 meters of the steep hill there isn’t a proper road. Most taxis will refuse to go that last bit so make sure you go there only with a backpack because carrying anything more up that steep hill will suck! We had to do that after a 10 hour bus ride from Delhi at 6 in the morning, in the freezing cold. They should mention this in BOLD. I would not have booked EDM had I known this. Second they claim to have a 24/7 reception but when we landed there in the morning. It was completely deserted. Not a soul was there. If you don’t have staff ready 24/7 don’t claim it. Having said that the staff were very helpful and gracious so that really made up for these issues.

The events organized here, including the Holi celebration, add an extra layer of fun and excitement to the stay. The whole vibe of the hostel is incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

I must say that though my stay was only for a day and I had to move to my home town but it was one of a kind experience staying at EDM Hostel. The view, food and friendly and humble staff made it even better. The artists play here and there all the time even when there is no event. I would highly recommend EDM Hostel to every young soul.

My stay at EDM Hostel was really good. The female dormitory was clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering everything I needed. The food was tasty, and there was a nice variety to choose from. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even better.

Came to know through this platform. Bunk beds were good. The washroom was also clean. Party also great. Food was a little overpriced but manageable.

One of the best stay, in upper Dharamkot the staff behaviour is so polite and food was so delicious. Definitely it gonna be my forever palace whenever I visit Dharamshala.

everything from food to fun is amazing, I've never had such experience in my entire life. I have travelled to so many countries and different party places but this place is truly a vibe. Other than EDM Hostel Dharamkot is also a lovely place to visit.
