The private balcony allowed me to enjoy the stunning views right from the comfort of my room. However, the staff's apologetic demeanor and the delicious food more than made up for it. This property, within walking distance from the city palace, is a remarkable addition to the choices available in udaipur. The ambience and hospitality are great, although the staff at times become forgetful. The food is somewhat unpredictable, excellent at times and spicy or improperly cooked at other times. Since the property is within a dense cover of vegetation that generates ample co 2 at night, rooms should be kept open during the day for some time to ensure proper air circulation at night. The property is mosquito-infested (not in the rooms though) due to which it is hard to use the lawn, playground or the hammocks there. The rose-apple fruit falling on the roof all night creates a sound that is disturbing at times. The management should work towards redressing these issues that make the stay in this otherwise enviable place restless at times. Subject to these limitations, the property is strongly recommended.

We recently stayed at the property for a christmas celebration. The staff at the service desk were warm and helpful. Rooms were spacious and had enough natural light. The food was good, i tried gutta curry and kadai pakora both were yummy and a must try whosoever is visiting the place. They also organised a lovely christmas party with live music and some bollywood trivia quiz. Our overall experience was excellent and we would recommend this to anyone who is visiting udaipur. This place is in central location, very near to lake pichola and city palace. Though they improve on variety they offer in bakery for breakfast and they provide hair dryer in the room though they will provide you if you ask for the same. Nonetheless this place is amazing.

Location is excellent, located at heart of city there is kids play area for kids cleaniness is excellent, this is first time that i didn't have anything to instruct. Resort staff is very humble and curtious. Lawn is good and good tracks for morning walk. You can have breakfast and lunch dinner in open space. Daily one artist for your entertainment while you have your dinner. Great lighting all over the resort. Swimming pool is bit small but ok. Morning breakfast is having a lot of variety. Excellent property for peace relaxation and stay. Aranya villas is like a nature adobe!

The resort is located at the walking distance from city palace. It is spread in a decent large area, with greenery within and around. The atmosphere here is very calm and soothing. The staff is very professional and cooperative, and their service is very very good. The food quality is superb and quantity per dish is also quite good, which justifies their (somewhat) high prices. The cottages are spacious, and they are kept neat and clean (toilet is also kept clean, which is an important in terms is hygiene. Overall, the best resort for a calm stay in udaipur.

Everything about the Aranya Vilas - A Nature Resort was exceptional. It was a clean, stylish room with excellent service. Food was excellent and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

location: aranya vilas is located in center which made easy to visit all key places. facility: it is villa setup we got individual cottage. it was clean and well maintained furniture. wash room was clean with 24 hot water. room was equipped with ac and heater. surrounding was peaceful with small pond in facility. restaurant: food service was very good. we have enjoyed breakfast and dinner. chef was very good and he checked individually on improvement. overall value for money place.

Places is very beautiful & impressive within city area no one can bit this property. Nice big room & cosy bathroom neat & clean. Food is delicious

It was a random unplanned journey. The resort is right in the middle of the City but still offered unmatched serenity and closeness to nature. The pond inside the compound adds to the charm. A bit easy on the pocket would have made the experience even more repeatable.

Staying at the resort was an exceptional experience. Starting from reception to hospitality, cleanliness to staff availability and food to bar facility is very good.
