Broad Bean Resort & Spa

A perfect stay. I stayed here on the date Sep 21-22. Room type superior club rate through MakeMyTrip. When I planned trip to Munnar, my aim is to spend some quality time with my wife and my 2 year old son. Also to relax and rejuvenate mind. Beginning itself, I totally avoided sightseeing and visiting tourist spots. Because there will be crowded and we can't get a privacy. So I decided to chose a Resort. I started searching resorts having outdoor activities, swimming pool and kids play area. In Chithirapuram or Pallivassal area. On 3rd day of searching, make my trip offered here at a rate. Before it was high. A perfect resort to full fill my above said wishes. The resort is perfect to spend a day without going anywhere. The resort is built in a 5 acre land with well maintained greenery. Also with a natural pond. The rooms are in villa type blocks. We're welcomed with glass of juice. There is vehicle to transport is to room. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room superior club, which is the basic room. Rooms with private pool, or jacuzzi, or Bath tub also available. The room is pretty big enough. It's 272 sq. Ft room. Enough space in the room for my son to run around. Room is very clean and neat. The bed is large and can accommodate 4 persons. We 3 has enough space to spread. Pillows and blankets are clean. WiFi, AC, iron box, ironing table, electric kettle with tea and coffee bags, TV, mini fridge, electronic safe, room sandals, drinking water are the amenities available in room at free of cost. Bathroom nice, spacious and clean. Toilet area and Bath area are separated with glass. Hot water available all time. Towels, bathing kit, brushing kit, shaving kit are available as complimentary. Also equipped with hair dryer. Activities kids play area with slides are there. Swimming pool is well maintained and clean. The natural pond has 2 pedal boats available and can be used free. Also there is space for badminton, basketball, cricket. There is an amphitheater where you can perform if interested. Gym, caroms are also available here. Ayurvedic Spa an ayurvedic Spa is available here with various treatments. Food food is little expensive here. But the food is great. My recommendation is to choose buffet, which is economical. In buffet there will be one non veg dish. Other than non veg, there will be 3 or 4 veg dishes will be there. Mostly the buffet is in favor of North Indian. Break fast will be free. Let me give the break up of my food. Boiled rice for 1 person Kerala fish curry Chicken 65 Ice cream vanilla I'm giving 4 stars only because of food. Because the food is more cheaper than here at some resorts in Munnar which are expensive than here. The area where Resort staying is a remote area and no Broad Bean Resort & Spas are available. The resort is surrounded by hills and it's very picturesque. The temp here is little higher than Munnar, the distance to Munnar Town is 17 km from here. Roads to Resort are okay. It was a perfect and happy stay for me and my family. We enjoyed a lot. The hospitality and cleanliness was adorable. Will definitely recommend.

Broad Bean Resort, like most of the Broad Bean Resort & Spas and resorts in Munnar, is located in Chithirapuram. Initially, finding the Broad Bean Resort & Spa was a little difficult due to lack of sufficient billboards on the way. However, it wasn't too much of a task since it's only about 12 kilometers away from the city. On entering the Broad Bean Resort & Spa, we were greeted very warmly by the staff at the entrance. We got our stay confirmation and keys for the room conveniently by showing our MMT Booking ID. The rooms were very cozy and warm, with a beautiful view of the hills and the forest. The Broad Bean Resort & Spa at the resort, Herbs and Spice was also excellent. Both the taste and variety of the food was impressive. No alcohol is served anywhere inside the resort. The resort also has a small, scenic boating place, a playground, a basketball court, a badminton court, and a swimming pool. The only issue I had was with the service at the Broad Bean Resort & Spa where they didn't immediately attend to their improper internet connection. Overall, I'd like to say that it's a lovely place to visit with family.

I have opted for a bath-tub villa, and the ambiance of the Broad Bean Resort & Spa, lighting and the amenities are really great. Excellent location and overall surroundings and the campus is well maintained. About stay, its more comfortable and a great one with good sleep systems About food, excellent complimentary breakfast, decent lunch for a star rated Broad Bean Resort & Spa and value for money, taste can be improved. About dinner, its pathetic, only buffet option is available, and we can't go for any South Indian menu's. It's forced to have the given dinner. No ala-carte option was given. Food taste in the dinner, is very bad and that's the only thing I hated in the stay.

My stay at broad bean was truly delightful. The rooms were impeccably clean and provided a comfortable retreat throughout my stay. The amenities offered, from the cozy bedding to the in-room facilities like high-speed wi-fi and well-stocked toiletries, contributed to a pleasant and relaxing experience. The Broad Bean Resort & Spa's amenities were top-notch, with excellent facilities like a well-equipped gym and a refreshing pool. Dining options were diverse and satisfying, offering delicious meals accompanied by exceptional service. Additionally, the attentive concierge service and laundry facilities added convenience to my stay.

The property is well laid out and nicely planned. The rooms are private and not many in one cluster. Spacious and comfortable. However, the room we were assigned which was a mid segment room, needed some maintenance like exhaust fan not working, bathroom door not closing and panel gaps in the main door. Cheaper rooms were well equipped than ours, maybe they were newly developed. Other than these it was a pleasant experience.

I had booked villa, it was very good, clean and with good facilities. Common summing pool is addon, and good play area for childrens. The best thing is it's location, it's surrounded by mountains and with full of greenary. Just one drawback is to find this resort, gps usually does-not work properly when we reach 1-2 km to this place. However there is no internet or network issue inside resort(jio or vodaphone is prefered.

It was a 2 nights stay with family. We had no serious complaints. Food was manageable. Breakfast buffet could hv been better. My 10 yr daughter n joyed d zip line. Pool is really small though. Cleanliness of rooms can b improved though we had a complimentary upgrade. Spa services are wonderful and reasonable in price. Buggy man was full of patience. All staff are very courteous

I booked this resort for my sister and family as her anniversary gift and I called resort to make some surprises for her. Hotel staff planned the surprises very well and did it and they got a complimentary upgrade to private pool villa as well. Resort have kids play area. So my little niece could enjoy her time. Overall sister and family was more than satisfied with the resort.

Rooms are good. Parking is available. All facilities are well maintained.

Very peaceful, calm in the arms of the nature, lush green, on the bank of river stream. The one must stay here

5 star for location and resort view and amenities. Rooms have scope to improve. In our stay we stayed in room 204 - this room is having excellent view from room balcony. Restaurant lake side tables are good to have romantic dinner. Over all it is value for money.

A good resort to relax and good food too.

Excellent surroundings, great hospitality and food was good. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Rooms were neatly maintained and best place to visit with family and friends. Restaurant had a limited yet good food. View from the rooms were pleasant and swimming pool was well maintained. That's all. Please give details about discount

It was a great experience, nice room with dinner table, great service, nice interior, I loved the boating and fishing facilities the only thing missing was activation of Hindi cable network.

Good peaceful stay. Tons of activities. Ayurvedic spa treatment and excellent and friendly staff.

A good place to enjoy. Enroute is difficult. Many facilities are provided like, zip line indoor games, etc.

The rooms were isolated and provided us the safety and comfort we desired. The food was good. The staff was courteous, helpful, polite.
