MARUTHAM VILLAGE RESORT

The location was not far from city limits of mahabalaipuram, but yet was away from fast life of city. There were enough sign boards located to guide tourists to the resort location. Arrival at the resort was a pleasant welcome with welcome drink. But, yes, the pleasantness of the trip started even before we reached the resort. The resort people were kind enough to check if we would like to have lunch at their resort upon arrival. They called me 2 hours before my check in time for this! that was amazing. After reaching the resort and check in, we were kept occupied with various activities like pumpset play, pet time, outdoor games, indoor games, evening snacks, folk dance and dinner. After a good night sleep, we woke up to the chirping of birds and sound of rain drops. Nature walk across the paddy field, a beautiful and calm water pond and a nature trail in the serenity of rain drops laden forest like path was blissful start to the morning. Breakfast was home like cooking and all of us enjoyed the same. Swimming pool was small but very pleasant. It was kid friendly and we had good time there too. Pottery was done previous day too, and we have souvenir done and shall treasure the small pot and vase, by painting those soon. All in all, marutham resort was a pleasant experience to all of us (my wife and 2 sons, 8 and 12 years of age, and we all will surely make another visit soon!

Our stay was quite enjoyable. We stayed in a studio cottage with a vibrant street atmosphere, which added to the experience. The street food was excellent, and the kids especially loved the pump set bath. The morning walk through the fields was refreshing and serene. The taste of the food was outstanding. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Never really expected to enjoy this much. Wonderful swimming pool with mini waterfall, then two pumpsets alongside wells. All these accompanied with spacious neat and clean rooms. Food was excellent. They had cattle farms and other small actitivities like gun shoot and archery for kids and elders. My kid loved the place for water activities.

It was a different experience. Village style stays, clean atmosphere and courteous staff. Great place to visit with kids as they have a lit if activities. One day should suffice to enjoy the place. Had a lot of fun in the pump set bath. Food taste was good but felt prices were on the higher side. Overall good experience.

Very nice place. You have multiple activites to do and enjoy ! always plan for atleast 2 days to stay here ! i had a chance to meet the owners of this place, they are really humble to everyone. All the staff working here are good and kind. Calm relaxing place. Food is really good !

The most outstanding stay i ever had. A peaceful and mind relaxing place to escape from the busy lifestyle. All staffs are very friendly. Neat, clean and well maintained rooms and facilities. Food was very delicious. There are many activities to keep us engaged round the clock.

The ambience was so good. Well cleaned rooms and tasty food. Worth a stay and 2 days of stay to explore fully.

Ambience was perfect to spend with the family. Resort staffs and event organisers were very courteous. They should consider reducing their tariff despite being holiday week. The prices are double compared to normal day.

Best stay for family’s outing to bring back the nostalgic old days you kiddos will sure love to engage a lot.

A perfect stay for a weekend with family, good food and more activities for kids to engage. The resort is made of village style which brings a nostalgic of our older days.

Rooms are like village houses with moderate luxury. Feel like staying in a village. Over all its a different experience.

Very good place to stay in mahabalipuram. Full of nature and calm environment. Hospitality also very good. Food tastes excellent.

Rooms and services are really good but indoor play timings can be increased. It would be better even if they increase the food timing. Since indoor time is less it looks like after dinner we don't find time to spend for indoor gamings.

The activities are great. Kids enjoyed. Nice big rooms. Food is pricey. Swimming pool. Pump set was great. Thappu and karakaatam is great. Nice entertainment
