Rivatas By Ideal

We stayed with our family of us and one kid for a night. Starting with positive points. It has a good ambience , nice location, courteous staff and good food. The rooms also are well maintained and spacious. Bar is well stocked. Points where scope of improvement is there: The supply of hot water was not there in the evening and when enquired told that the supply of hot water in bathroom during evening hours is on request!!! Surprising for a five star property. Next, the chef spl burger was not special. Needs a huge change in taste. The time taken for the food to reach the table after ordering was more than usual. Two cups of tea took 40 mins… lastly, the guards at entrance when we arrived, didnt even acknowledge that a guest has arrived . Noone cared to greet the guest. Know that it is not a big thing but for a reputed property, these are things which set the tone for the stay , for a guest. In the end, it was a nice experience and we would def love to stay there again. Though feel that it should not be listed as a five star property( as one of the waiter said ki Sir five star hai itna toh option of eating hoga!!!) thank you

The Rivatas By Ideal staff is really good and helpful. They take care of every little need of yours and also guide you through your itenerary and suggest good places to visit and shops for shopping. Staff courtesy- chitransh, kamlesh the Rivatas By Ideal smells fresh all the time including the floor corridors. Loved the fragrance in the lobby we booked the basic room (incl breakfast) yet the size of the room was huge probably ~300sq ft. This gave us space to add another bed as ours was triple occupancy and also left a lot of walking space. Bathroom was huge as well. The staff cleans up your room while you are in the room and you can ask them to not clean it in your absence. There is swimming pool and gym that is well maintained however i found the gym washroom pot not clean and required plumbing as water was filling up.

Had to make an urgent program for varanasi with family and was worried about the miseries monsoon would unleash on this visit. Chose this Rivatas By Ideal and the experience was just fantastic. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful and they even upgraded our room without any additional charges. Rooms are spacious and well maintained in terms of cleanliness and very supportive staff ever eagre to make your stay as happy as is possible. Restaurant is the best part and theirr buffet spread and dinner buffet was full of great choices and greater items. Great stay for two days and would love to come here again. Strongly recommend. Had concerns when booking whether we would get a clean and reasonable Rivatas By Ideal room in varanasi and were extremely satisfied by rivatas. The Rivatas By Ideal is in cantonment area. The room is spacious, well maintained and hygienic. Housekeeping does good service. The extra bedding provided is also comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast and dinner spread has optimal variety and is well prepared. Going to temple and ghats was easily accessible by auto across the street. The only suggestion would be for front desk to be more welcoming. Overall a wonderful experience at rivatas and would look forward to coming back again.

Excellent location as it is centrally located and local transport like auto rickshaw is easily available from right outside the gate. Housekeeping is efficient and the place is neat and clean. Linen is also very neat. All basic amenities like tea coffee maker and bathroom items are provided. Food is good and delicious. Breakfast spread is little limited, but good tasty and healthy. Would definitely go back there. One thing which is worth mentioning is they do cater for some eatables even at odd hours as i got veg biryani at 11:45 pm due to my late arrival at the Rivatas By Ideal

I happened to stay for a day at rivatas after quite some time - with my old aged parents. The check in was smooth - i was even provided with a wheelchair for my father who could not walk. The rooms were pretty spacious and clean. A digital locker was also in the room besides a large size tv. The breakfast spread was pretty good and quality of food preparations was excellent. On our request, the breakfast to my 90+yrs old father was also served in his room. We were delighted by the hospitality which was at par with the best in the country.

My wife and i visited there last week and the Rivatas By Ideal was very good. The food at ocean restaurant was excellent, even if a bit pricey. The staff was courteous and helpful in most aspects and the cleanliness was extremely good. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The swimming pool is an outdoor one and shared with the adjoining property with limiting timings. Would recommend to couples and families looking for a nice vacation in varanasi

Hotel is situated in one of the posh areas in cantonment. The room is well designed and spacious. Mr. Alok at the reception was very helpful the food was awesome and caters equally well to the foreigners and indians staying here. The staff were extremely helpful in everything. Getting food ordered to the room to getting the all items replenished. All the medical shops are nearby and it is one of the safest area in varanasi.

Hotel staff were very courteous and warm. I forgot my credit cards , driving license , chocolate boxes and boarded flight. House keeping staff displayed integrity and Rivatas By Ideal/travel desk couriered to my Mumbai address. Hotel management should take pride about their staff.

Nice place good food and comfortable and very well placed plus safe for women travellers. All the staff are courteous and helpful overall a very pleasant stay would come back again

Carpet inside the room was not clean and also there was a lot of noise coming inside the room that won’t allow you to take rest and n day time. Food is just ok.
