RKN Beach Resort

We had a great time at RKN Beach Resort. First of all the resort is beautiful and huge. The beach access was really excellent. The resort is attached to the Paradise Beach, which is very clean and not very crowded (during our visit). The rooms were big, spacious and clean. Food was good and tasty however, service and room service is a bit slow. The only difficulty we had was the hot-water availability. Since we landed there on a weekday, their hot-water supply to rooms is not exactly 24/7. It is on demand. On Saturday, when most rooms got occupied, they turned on hot-water 24/7. This could have been told in advance instead of saying that hot-water is available at any time and requires wasting buckets of water only to get lukewarm water. There may be some difficulty with language when speaking to staff who mostly speak Tamil but it is not a deal breaker as they were able to understand English. But the staff was humble, kind and helping. Thanks and all-in all, we had a very good time and an enjoyable vacation. Highly recommend this resort to fellow travelers!

I will put it this way. Pros: 1. Nice rooms (if you are not a solo person chances are that you get better/bigger rooms) 2. Nice greenery, sea breeze 3. Resort is pretty clean and quiet. You can take a nice stroll around. Calm and serene. 4. You have access to beach (private sort of). Walk 50-100 meter and you are in the beach. Reasonably clean one and no crowd except for the folks staying in the resort. 5. Good breakfast (complimentary if you choose that way) not sure about other meals as I pretty much ate out all the time Cons: 1. It's a little overpriced. 2. Unless you have a car or rent out a car commuting to the city/tourist spots is a pain. It's little away from the main road and is around 10 kms from the main town. Rent out a bike you need to shell out huge amount around per day. Works out pretty cheaper and you can roam as you wish. Choose any such sea side resort only if you want to relax rejuvenate within the resort and not to do sight seeing much.

We stayed at RKN Beach Resort for a day. The property is fabulous. It gives a nice feeling as soon as you enter the resort. Mr. Venugopal was kind to upgrade our room to pool facing room. The room was very spacious with modern fixtures. The bathroom was also big with all required toiletries. The staff was courteous and polite. The resort has a private beach which is very clean and picturesque. They have 3 swimming pools, the main one is very big and nice. This is very nice for children as well as they have riders/cycles for children and a big play area with different types of slides. You can ride a cycle within apartment either to go to the beach or just to enjoy. Most importantly everything they have built very beautifully with taken care of details of everything. Only thing they can improve on is the food quality specially for veg. The taste was not good. Otherwise, it is awesome place. It is less than a km from Paradise beach.

My friend and I stayed with our families at RKN Beach Resort for 3 days. Resort is clean, well maintained but for the Pongal holidays, they were short staffed. That issue was felt only with room service. As much as we expected this problem at every place during these holidays, it was more problematic only when room service was slow for kids food. They needed a consistent follow up to make sure our order is not forgotten among several others :) Keeping that aside, otherwise overall experience was impeccable. Rooms were great. We in fact ended up not going anywhere outside of resort in spite of having few ideas. Of course beach was immediately accessible and we enjoyed the dip in the water while we visited the beach. Beach was also clean and almost kind of private although we did see some outside crowd. Definitely recommended!

Pros: 1. Good ambiance. 2. Well maintained rooms. 3. Open air Movies/Match screening is a pleasant experience. 4. Access to a clean and less crowded beach. 5. Very friendly and pleasant front desk staff. 6. Cycles at the resort was a good replacement for walking around Cons: 1. Restaurant service was very slow. 2. Makemytrip booking experience was pathetic. On a re-plan the ages entered for kids were gone and lead to confusion at the time of check. The Makemytrip call center was hopeless and thus isn't the first time I've faced such issues with MMT. Since the RKN Beach Resort staff was kind enough not to spoil my vacation, they managed the booking issue. 3. The AC of our room wasn't functioning well and the fan regulator was not working properly.

We stayed on week day at r kn and the service was really good. The check in process was too quick. Food at the restaurant was awesome and we enjoyed very much. The food varieties in breakfast was really good, also the taste was yummy. The chefs were polite and they were able to handle the pressure of users orders. We stayed in private pool room and it was clean and pool water was cleaned. This place is completely green and beach is just next to it. They have a big walking area where kids can cycle and elderly people can use for walking. Run rise view from this beach resort will be a catch. We loved our stay over here, it’s like a escape from the busy world.

Location little distant from the city so away from crowds. Warm reception, they were ready to receive us. The room allotted was large with dressing room and big wash room, an ante room and a pool about 6×3 meters. The property is well maintained with greenery. Bicycles are available for desirous, also a tennis court and swimming pool. The adjacent beach is reasonably clean and not crowded, safe for enjoying a dip. The food is good, reasonably priced. The service is prompt and warm. Adequate parking space is available. As an aside, visited promenade beach and realized the resort beach is better for enjoying.

Positives: my first visit to the property had been a good experience. I liked stay and amenities in the room pretty neat. The resturant was serving good food. Spread of breakfast was great. Room service was fast and prompt. Location was calm and activities arrangements like shooting, ebikes was entertaining. Things that could improve: the restaurant area facing pool could be meshed to avoid crows and other birds disturbing the guests. There should strict governance at the pool for synthetic clothes entry this is fast rule now. Despite the improvement areas we enjoyed the place as a family.

A very big resort maintained neatly. They've beach access. It is a great property to n joy with friends and families. But their customer service is very slow and they are not kind with even kids that's a great minus in this property. Otherwise their food ambience is great.

Decent rooms, good service, restaurant is ok, but at the beach, not very clean and no facilities or the staff was not there to provide any options especially as this is advertlised as a beach side resort.

Very nice resort. Lot of green space. Backside opens to Beach. 3 swimming pools, gym, tennis court, cricket pitch, children play area and everything was good.

Family outing made comfortable, with excellent ambience, clean pools, hygienic rooms, well maintained washrooms and what not! Highly recommend this resort.

Excellent, facility provided by rkn, was having a fun time with family. Great breakfast spreads, dinner was a bit disappointed. Less variety, under staffed during dinner time.

First of all resort environment was so good. We booked an executive pool one with private pool. It was so good. Housekeeping was not up to the mark average only. Breakfast buffet has much variety but very less variety in lunch. For dinner, they arranged an outside buffet with DJ. Actually a good arrangement to spend the evenings. Overall it was a good trip.

This place has an amazing location, just besides the paradise beach. Rooms are spacious and good. It has 23 swimming pool inside the property. 3 common polls and the rest private pools. But the food is not that great in taste. Being a beach side property, expected variety of fish in the menu which was missing. Also, they should improve on the food quality to make it more attractive for visitors to leave with a wow factor. But overall a nice property to stay as a family or in a group.

Nice, hygiene and safe place for family people. Overall good time spent. Need to improve the restaurant quality and taste of food

We enjoyed the stay over here very nice Resort, calm place to stay. Food was also nice private Beach is best of Resort. Kids enjoyed a lot over here.
