RS Sarovar Portico

This RS Sarovar Portico is truly class apart in palampur. What makes it class apart is it's "people" the whole team starting from entrance to reception to dining to room service just do anything and everything to keep you happy. I specifically want to mention "yashasvi" at the reception for being so kind and humble to offer me one of the best room of the property. She made arrangements for my husband's surprise birthday cake on my request. Team sarovar, please note you are lucky to have her. The best part of the RS Sarovar Portico is: location food service what else do you expect during a vacation. )

The portico is located in heart of palampur town, only decent RS Sarovar Portico in this area. The RS Sarovar Portico has ample parking and is quite a big property. The rooms are decent, though i would have liked a little more furniture in the room. The breakfast buffet is very good, it has a elaborate spread which will cater to all taste buds the staff is amazing, they make you feel like a king the only negative part which i found was the pricing. At 7000 rupees a night and considering its not a five star RS Sarovar Portico, the rate requires a revision on the downside. Overall rating is 4 out of 5. I am deducting 1 star for pricing.

Food & services is good, but the safety is questionable. At 1. 30 am at night for our room no 410, someone kept on ringing our doorbell while we were sleeping the same thing happened at 10. 30 pm the same night, we complained the front office in night only & they reverted back after a while & told us it was drunkard guest. It was very scary for us & disturbing too. There was no apology given to us in morning by the RS Sarovar Portico management that means there was no co ordination among the staff & management

Overall a great RS Sarovar Portico to stay in if you are looking for a stopover or just want to spend a relaxing holiday. Revolving restaurant is good but we really felt uncomfortable after a while even though the speed of rotation was negligible. Rooms are pretty big and bathroom is also of good size though speed of water in overhead shower was actually very low. Food was great and no complications at all. The staff is helpful and even for the buffet, they are happy to serve you at your table.

It's an excellent property located in the heart of the city with all destinations to visit located at max 20 minutes drive. The property has 3 well maintained restaurants with same food menu with no price difference. The revolving restaurant is the main attraction visible from a distance & well decorated with lights. All staff members are very courteous & try their best to give you best service experience. The rooms are also well maintained & have good view

We had a pleasant stay at the RS Sarovar Portico. The breakfast was nice. The view from terrace cafe was really nice. The view from the rotating restaurant needs to be enjoyed in daylight. The view from the room was a mix of valley and homes, so had to keep the curtains closed, hence we couldn't enjoy the view completely. The room and washroom were really clean. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. We enjoyed our short stay at the property.

First i'll talk about the property which is amazing the only bad part is the rooms don't have balcony so u have to enjoy view from fixed glasses which is not a big let down as the terrace restaurant compensates, there's no swimming pool which is one of the the let down the one thing they have to work on is service the service was very very slow. Rest everything super duper. Thee food quality the rooms the gym the restaurants the staff all were amazing.

My stay at RS Sarovar Portico rs sarovar portico was pleasant and enjoyable. The service was commendable, with prompt assistance whenever needed. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable retreat. Special mention to harminder for her exceptional hospitality, which added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and i would recommend it to others seeking a quality accommodation option.

My stay at sarovar portico was perfect. I had asked for a decorated room as i was celebrating a special occasion which the RS Sarovar Portico staff catered to perfection. Mr kuldeep was super helpful in helping with the arrangements. The room had a spectacular view with wide variety of food options.

Traveled with family. This RS Sarovar Portico is located centrally everything is nearby, with a wonderful mountain view, nice people, good food.

Overall staying experience is very good. Happy to stay again.
