Sterling Yelagiri

i recently stayed at sterling yelagiri, and it was a fantastic experience! the hospitality was top-notch; the staff was always smiling and friendly, making us feel right at home. the amenities are impressive, featuring a lovely swimming pool, a kids' pool, and designated play areas for children and babies. our room was well-maintained and hygienic. when we encountered a minor leakage issue, the staff promptly moved us to another room without any hassle. they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the buffet was fantastic, with a great selection for both lunch and dinner—2 non-veg options for lunch and 3 for dinner. they also provide breakfast, featuring a live counter for freshly prepared food during all meal times. one note on parking: while the Sterling Yelagiri can accommodate 10-15 vehicles, the number of rooms means some cars may need to park outside the gate. if you're traveling with a baby, they’re incredibly accommodating, even preparing baby food on request. overall, a wonderful experience—definitely worth a visit!

The rooms at the Sterling Yelagiri were incredibly spacious, providing ample space to relax and unwind. The comfortable stay made it even more enjoyable. The Sterling Yelagiri’s food was of good quality, although i must admit it was on the expensive side. However, the tasty meals made up for the higher prices. The staff members were extremely helpful throughout my stay. They were attentive, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. I truly appreciated their excellent service. While the overall experience was positive, there is room for improvement in the area of room service. Although prompt, the room service could be more efficient and attentive to detail. Overall, my stay at this Sterling Yelagiri was comfortable and enjoyable. The spacious rooms, good food (albeit pricey, and helpful staff contributed to a pleasant experience. With some enhancements to the room service, this Sterling Yelagiri would be an even more outstanding choice for future visits.

Excellent overall experience with sterling. We were 2 adults 1 senior citizen and one 4 yr old. The room assigned is large with a balcony and comfortably accommodated all of us. The check in was quick and an early check in, room with a very pleasing view of the mountainside. We were welcomed to a well decorated room since we had mentioned it was our 4 yr olds birthday. Hotel is clean, quick in room service for any in room dining requirements. Located close to all popular tourist attractions. Right beside the murugan temple which is walkable from the Sterling Yelagiri. The restaurant is well equipped with a good spread for buffet and a well equipped menu for al carte. They have a well equipped swimming pool, kids park and a indoor kids play area. Ideal for kids entertainment. The drive up the mountain is quite an experience. Stunning view, beautiful lake for boating and plenty of play options for children. Highly recommended for anyone visiting yelagiri.

The resort is in a prime place and most of the tourist destinations are surrounding this place. The rooms were good and the Sterling Yelagiri staff duly attended to minor complaints. It was raining on the second day of our stay and it was a relaxing stay away from the summer. The complimentary breakfast was good. The buffet lunch and dinner options were ok for us, but the staff was providing opportunities if we were not opting for the buffet. Would like to thank the restaurant staff, mr. Mani and ms raveena for their kind gesture during our restaurant visit. The swimming pool alone needs some cleaning and its monitoring would be better as the staff in charge needs to put extra care when he is doing the job. Overall would recommend the place for stay during your visit

The Sterling Yelagiri location is good, i was able to get a room with a mountain view. The food is good and the breakfast buffet is very delicious. Most of the tourist spots are within 3 km from the Sterling Yelagiri. Not enough amenities, pool was not very clean. However, the weather was cold, and the pool water was cold. Parking is limited inside the premises. However, they have parking space just outside the Sterling Yelagiri, which looks to be safe. I stayed for 2 days. However, i feel you can cover most of the things in 1 day. I also look near the Sterling Yelagiri and resort and found this is the nice one among others and most importantly food is highgenic and tasty, which is difficult to find nearby.

We wanted to escape the heat and sweat in chennai and drove to this closest resort. The stay was made very comfortable because of the staff, who were ever willing to listen to us and accede to any reasonable demand. The room overlooked a forest and was calming and soothing. The room was airy and large. Food was well cooked, and the chefs were willing to create dishes specific to our dietary requirements. No oil, less spices and salt etc. The admin staff and the hk staff also looked after our needs. The massage at the spa was excellent. A must try for anyone who visits yelagiri sterling

We spent the weekend plus monday (puja holiday) from oct 21-23 at sterling yelagiri. The resort location is good. Room is very spacious with a nice balcony with a view of the hills. For 3 people it is a luxurious room. The food (buffet) options were good, though not excellent. We had our lunch and dinner every day from sterling itself and they gave good buffet deals. The recreation room has a tt table, carrom boards. The courtyard is very active with people playing or using the pool. We played badminton for a while the first evening. Overall a very good stay at sterling yelagiri.

It was pleasant stay with clean and well maintained rooms. Pool was good bit had a chlorine smell, that can be reduced. Only complaint is that they do have balcony and non balcony rooms, which is not mentioned on the description. Please add it to the room description. They had given us complementary dinner which was great. Food is good and the u do jave large verity in their buffet menu in dinner and breakfast, only thing is they need to increase their utensils count ( cups & bowls) service was quick all the time. Sterling yelagiri was good and staff are too friendly. Spa was useful. Customer service was good. Amenities could have been better. Hotel seems to be little old. No nearby shops or Sterling Yelagiris at a walkable distance. Overall the experience was good

Sterling yelagiri is a wonderful property, and it located in perfect spot. Many attractions are near to the Sterling Yelagiri making it even mote comfortable. The room we stayed was clean and spacious. The Sterling Yelagiri staffs were polite and keen to our requests. The restaurant could have been managed better. During the buffet, most of the time there was no cutlery, tissues, bowls.
