Sun City Resort

Room: we got the coral house. Room waa quite big and has amenities like tv. Ac fridge, geyser balcony extra blanket. Bed was big. Only has only wall hanging fan. We found only one fan per room. Air circulation was not there in entire room if ac not running we found a dirty extra blanket. Tv was standing on the table not on the table hanger. Really difficult to watch as it is same height of bed. Food: food quality was good except breakfast. There is tandoor disher are available we have ordered chicken tandoori. Kebab and chinese dishes those were good. However, complementary breakfast food was not at per mark. No juice, no sweets. 3 set of menu bread with boil egg, scarmbeled egg, puri sabji, uttampam. But the quality of food was not great during breakfast. We had a lunch with proper bengali dishes. Rice alu posto, daal, alu baja, fish curry, chicken, chatni and papad. Those were quite good in taste. Service this propert has a big area. They are serving food with tot o riksha or auto riksa. More or less service is okay. Not very great. Property area easy to go to beach, boating areas and a swimming pool areas. Has a temple inside. Spending time in the property was good. Used car to travel from restaurants to room as it 400 meter far from coral house. View room coral house has water body beside and that looks good. Those were bit far from beach front. We have used car to go inside. Reception area we found reception area has no ac only wall mounted fan. It was very hot that area. Hotel should have internal transport to traveling to different areas during daytime. Time to go the beach during high tide gate was closed. So only in low tight it was allowed to go to the beach. Room extension for late check-out they provided alternative room but that coral house room has no fridge. Ac was not working properly and one wall fan was not good. Room no 908. Overall experience were mixed of all these? but i will recommend to go near to restaurant sides rooms those are near to beach also. Less walking distance comparatively with coral house. We have managed with a car to go to the restaurant or to beach areas.

I must confess that i was quite apprehensive about the property, mostly about the maintenance and food and service and cleanliness. In hospitality business, these kind of seem to be all that is there to be hated about the entire property. Let me share me views too 1. It’s a huge property with a swimming pool, a lake, many complexes, children park and a huge area leading upto the beach. It is understandable that it would require a humongous effort to keep it spic and span, to which i would say that a fine attempt has been made of. The lake was clean and so was the swimming pool and the pavement to walk. 2. I stayed in the conch room and it was a wholesome experience, absolutely amazing. The rooms are huge, well lit, equipped with all basic amenities. The view from the room facing the lake was just surreal. 1/2 tiles had given up in the bathroom, some minor issues with the false ceiling, however, if one chooses to see the big picture of the experience, the issues seemed redundant. 3. The food served is quite good too and one of the few places around the beach where even the veg food is actually yum. The service is timely. No qualms thereof. 4. The housekeeping service, the staff were all very courteous and friendly. Any complaint was redressed promptly. *the overall experience was good if not the best, with minor changes i. E. Maintenance aspects looked after the whole thing could be one fantabulous sojourn

The road to the Sun City Resort main gate needs repairing. Road condition from manasa mandir, mandarmani to Sun City Resort is pathetic. Inside the Sun City Resort premises many ameneties are present. The lawns, pools, water bodies are well maintained and very clean. Staff behaviour excellent. Rooms were clean and services are prompt. Nice sea view from rooms. But the structures need maintenance. Old property needs maintenance. Complementary breakfast in the in house restaurant was awesome. Food in the in house restaurant tastes good but a bit costly. Children play area needs maintenance, many things were present but not working. Boating inside the resort was free and a nice experience. Rope way was out of order.

I spent 2 nights in sun city resort. One night in coral house (booked thru makemytrip) and extended another night in a sea view room. Sun city resort is a good resort having good swimming pool, small kid's park and paddle boating lake. Staff behavior is good. Food quality is good and service is quick. But cable tv (quality of picture and sound) is terrible. Tv size is small (14' to 21). Sea beach infront of the resort is muddy. You have to go 100-200 meters at least to have relatively better beach. Room quality of sea view rooms are not good but location ( viewing see from room and balcony ) is very good. This is a huge property. Overall is good and booking thru makemytrip is hassle free.

We stayed at royal rooms of the resort. You can enjoy great view from the room itself and from the adjacent balcony. However balconies are not room wise separated. It’s a long common balcony. Although you can sit in the adjacent balcony of your room and enjoy drink and food with your friends and family. If you would like to get similar view in some other resort you may have to pay double of the amount. Food is decent. But they have very limited options in fish. Rooms are old but very neat and clean. Room service, housekeeping every service is very quick and good. They arranged mini fridge and toiletries upon request and without any extra money. Would like to visit once again

The property is huge, acquiring largest area among all other resorts in mandarmoni. Swimming pool is clean on account of being a beach resort. Food taste was good, finger licking in fact but little bit costly. Rooms are cleaned with good views also. Most importantly the staff's behaviour is too polite to get impressed. The main thing about this property is maintenance; for being such a huge one it needs too much maintenance but as if it lost it's initial glory for in being in a race with other new aged modernized properties, some places are left behind and less maintained. But that didn't bothered our prodigious stay and may applicable to others as well.

We stayed in Conch house, which was neat and clean. The washroom was also very clean, which was my main concern. Then talking about the environment, it offers you plenty of greenery and fresh air to relax. The area of this resort is huge, which makes you feel just like entering into some dream place. And then in the evening after lunch we did boating which was another surprise for us. Now talking about the food, in one word I can just only say it was delicious 😋. So overall, it was an amazing experience for us. I would definitely recommend others to book Suncity and enjoy.

It was a pleasant stay indeed. Conch house where we are staying is very spacious and comfortable. Sun city is beach resort where one can stay for an enjoyable vacation. A big lake is further enhancing the charm of the resort. A few amenities like swimming pool, sea view jetty with recliner was awesome. Staffs are nice and hospitable. Food in the restaurant may be categorised as good. Area maintenance is not upto the mark. Clearly it requires little more effort. Effect of yash is still visible all around.

I have visited this place twice. Loved it both the times. Wanna b there again n again. Hospitality is also good. Ambience is very nice. It's completely a place to refresh yourself from tiring day to day life.

It was a pleasant stay it’s a beautiful resort and rooms with large spaces and food was also awesome

This is a place where i took a full family trip with parents and my brothers family. They had electric rickshaw for transporting senior citizens from rooms reception etc. On call. Ala carte food was good. Breakfast spread wasn't vast but it was simple and ok to suit all tastes. Resort had a couple of rides for children and boating if you wanted. Beach is directly accessible. Swimming pool was clean. Lots of open space. Good for a family trip.

There is no doubt suncity as q whole is excellent but needs improvement in areas as follows bathroom cleanness balcony easy access from royal room the water body has to be maintained but i would say food, hospitality and garden beautification and many more things are really appreciable.

My stay was very good their rooms were nice tidy. Property is nice one thing they can add this they can upgrade their food. Food was ohk ohk

I had choose n 2 rooms, one is conch house and another is coral house. Room of coral house is excellent better than conch house. Tariff of conch house is too high. Aprt from this location, food and other amenities is excellent. Plea-sent property for family

Excellent resort. The property is a huge one and there are lake, children's park, restaurant in the said property. The food of the restaurant is nice and the price is reasonable. Staff behaviour is good. Only property needs some maintenance. Acs are not cooling enough.

Location wise it's a wonderful destination for the traveller who is searching a serene atmosphere nearby the beach. The rate of the food is a bit on higher but due to its premium location it is okay. You can use the swimming pool and enjoy boating in this resort. The only drawback that comes to my notice is maintenance and cleanliness. Those are not upto the mark.

Air conditioners were not upto the mark but expect that everything was fine
