Estuary Sarovar Premiere, Poovar Island

I booked an estuary view room at estuary sarovar portico for 16th and 17th of february. It was a pleasant experience and the stay was excellent. The resort is spread across 16 acres and with lush greenery all across, it’s a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are clean and the property is very calm and quiet. The resort is about 2. 5km from poovar ksrtc stand. The parking is ample even though the route to reach there is a bit narrow. Ok for a car, but will be difficult for a bus i’ve booked the rooms from makemytrip and paid ~12000 for the estuary view room. This included complimentary breakfast. Rest of the meals [lunch on arrival and dinner] costed me around 2800, which was reasonable. I also had to pay 1800 for mangrove boating for the best view of this resort, you should book the estuary view room. This will give you views to the sea, nayyar river, boating, activity area, the garden and the pool. And it’s a very relaxing view. The only problem was that i booked during february and it was too hot in the balcony and there was no fan in the balcony there are three pools in the resort. One is a small kids pool and the other two are approximately 4. 5 feet depth pools for adults. And it is well maintained with adequate showering facilities and all the ripples restaurant is awesome with great food and good views. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. The food taste was super and it was served fast too. I never had such an awesome breakfast buffet before. All the dishes were really good. The service from the Estuary Sarovar Premiere, Poovar Island staff was excellent and i would like to thank ms. Parvathy and mr. Anand for the great treatment we received. We didn’t explore the beach much, but the cost to travel from resort to beach [via nayyar river] is covered in the resort booking cost itself. All we have to do is to reach out to the activity desk near restaurant the best feature is the boating and that too in an affordable rate of 1800/hour for 6 people. The boating is so exciting and relaxing at the same time. The mangrove boating is a very rare thing to do and it was a pleasant experience all together

We had a good and leisure stay at sarovar poovar. The natural atmosphere was so good. And the boat rides in the back water was excellent and a very good mood changer. The food was marvelous to mention specifically the puttu kadala curry was excellent. The chai was so delightful for the evening time. The rooms were very comfortable for the guest stay. The beach near the sarovar was excellent. The staff's were to nice to the guests their service was excellent to the core. The manager, chef, and other staffs were kind to us and served us well. The indoor and outdoor games, the benches, swing, hammocketc, was a nice touch to the resort. There were lot of animals, birds that were having there habitats there we have not seen all these in the city side. The stay in sarovar was like a stay at heaven's. There are thousands of words to say but made it soo short.

I stayed at estuary samovar portico, poovar island for 2 days and 2 night. The stay was nice, i really did enjoy it. Though i booked the cottage rooms via mm r, they offered me the estuary view room on arrival at discounted price. Good room with a pool, open area and estuary view from gallery. Bathroom is equipped with biotique products(hand wash/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/body lotion. Lighting in the room can made better and i felt sand on the room floor(could be due the the beach side property). It's safe to roam around in the property at night, nice ambiance to enjoy at night. Very friendly staff, makes the stay comfortable. Though food is expensive, it's worth when the taste is considered. Boat service to beach is complementary. Over all i would rate 4 out of 5. It's a can stay property.

Although i’m from trivandrum, i never knew this resort was such a beautiful one. We went for a one night staycation, we were welcomed by welcome drinks and staff who were very polite. They upgraded our rooms because it was a working day, which was a very nice gesture. They provided us with complimentary boat service, complimentary tea and snacks at the property. There are 3 swimming pools in the property and all are common. Nylon dress is compulsory in pool and they provide us with towels and all facilities. The place is so huge with indoor play area, cricket ground, basket ball court, free cycles. They also have ayurvedic spa. Overall a very beautiful and peaceful resort where you’ll need minimum 2 days to enjoy all the amenities.

Our first suprise is, we booked two rooms for a garden view and on arrival they upgraded both rooms to pool view. During the check in process, we are greeted individually with seashell garlands and our kids enjoyed this a lot. Swimming pool facilities are top notch and thanks to the swimming guard, who is monitoring and providing necessary support. Food is good ( need to expand their menu) and restaurant staff are responding very well. Boat ride was very well organised (thanks to the security person who coordinated for this. Experienced few power cuts during midnight (gensets turns on in few mnts) but, during deep sleep, turns to be a uncomfortable one. Overall, we had a very good holiday stay and recommend for our near and dears

Overall good stay in the lush greenery with backwater & sea right in front for to enjoy. Hospitality is well kept but some times we feel it is a bit too much! there are activities indoors & outdoor which is quite good. But we couldn’t use gym as they said it was under maintenance. Couple of things to note is the approach road to the property is rugged & we really had trouble with vehicles coming from opposite side. Also to note is that we had a lizard in the room but the next day we brought it to their attention & it was solved with pest control i guess as we didn’t see it the next day. Even the complimentary boat ride was not given for us as the man in control said they are busy. Other than these it was a relaxing stay.

Unwind at this place with your family. The staff are friendly and helpful. My mother required wheelchair and the staff were always there to move her around the place. The place overlooks the estuary and the beach. The resort has pools where you can have a good time. The garden is beautiful. There are plenty of places for outdoor activities. Mr Ahesh did a wonderful job at keeping my elderly mother and entire family feel at home by giving due attention to our needs. The restaurant serves excellent veg and non veg cuisine. The boat ride through the backwaters was fantastic. A tranquil and pleasant beach side resort for your perfect holiday

Property location is beautiful. Staff is friendly. Food is very dissatisfying thats the only part which disappointed us here mainly. Service is ok.

Worth to mention room size, customer service, food quality, everything is perfectly placed and well maintained. Specially, the **** named parvathy is very attentive, very well professional with her work, and helping each and every customer coming into the restaurant in just awesome manner. Location was awesome. But to find a property is big challenge. And the road to connect property from the main road which is terrible. Apart from if u reached u can have gr 8 time. Kind people and pleasant stay

The location is perfect for access as well as to go into the mangroves. The staff from all depts was good and polite. Lovely for adults as well as kids.

Calm and pleasant stay. I had enjoyed the stay very much. My room was just incredible, it was located in front of pool. The amenities were great. The most exciting factor was buggy facilities, through which we can travel from reception to our rooms and they are available throughout the stay at a call to reception

Awesome property for a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. Very pleasant and comfortable room and hygienic bathroom. All of the staff are incredibly helpful. Very good swimming pool and relaxing area. The restaurant ambiance is very good. Unfortunately the food was not satisfactory. The taste was not good but the rate was too expensive.

We had a memorable stay there. We booked garden view room but they upgraded us to pool view room facing towards river. The food was good. People at the resort was cordial. Our kids had nice time in indoor& outdoor play areas. We enjoyed the view from the deck
