Eterno Camellia and Elettaria

The best thing about this resort was the location. It was just fantastic to wake up in the morning to a view of the mountains. Resort includes several small plantations (coffee, cocoa, tea) within its property, so walking around was always peaceful. The Eterno Camellia and Elettaria room was fairly clean with some issues. We ended up having to move our room during our stay due to the bathroom being dirty and water not draining correctly through the shower drain. The rooms and bathrooms could also have been cleaner. We visited over christmas, so perhaps it was difficult to access maintenance staff due to holidays to prevent the issue above. The Eterno Camellia and Elettaria manager and reception staff were always helpful in honoring requests to change room when issues could not be resolved. One major issue of the resort was that all approach roads are in poor condition, and an suv with higher ground clearance is essential. However, i dont think the resort will have much control over the approach roads. I would strongly recommend to contact the front desk prior to arriving at the Eterno Camellia and Elettaria so that the Eterno Camellia and Elettaria manager can provide best directions to the Eterno Camellia and Elettaria. Do not blindly follow google maps.

Excellent property and staff. Only drawback is the entrance road till the room, which is extremely steep. Elderly people who have difficulty in walking, wont be able to walk around.

Rooms are good with all basic amenities. The resort is on the hill, so you need to climb for the restaurant, reception and everything around.

The property is at a good location. In between munnar and thekkady. If you stay for 2 days, you can go to munnar and thekkady from here.

Staff are very helpful, views from cottage are awesome

Stay was good, highly recommended but food have to improve. Taste is ok but not good. We don’t have more choice in their buffet dinner.
