EVOLVE BACK, COORG

Excellent property and Excellent Hospitality. Entire staff from Check-in desk to even the cleaning staff highly courteous. Faced couple of problems with the food. We requested the Restaurant team at the Granary for packed lunch without "any" chilli and spices for my child when went out for sightseeing. However, when we opened the lunch pack - we found that the Paranthas that were packed were full of chilli - both red and green - which even I found difficult in eating forget about my child. The other incident happened at the check-out. Due to some strike on the day of check-out we were requested to check-out at 5 am to safely leave the problem area. However, the check-out team was not prepared with the Bills and packed breakfast (ordered on previous night). This caused unnecessary problems early in the morning. Other than above 2 incidents - we had a pleasant experience. The Spa was also great. All the facilities are very good. Really enjoyed visit to the Anthorium Garden and Coracle Ride. The folk dance show was also excellent. Food was excellent at the All-vegetarian restaurant. Both South Indian and North Indian Food was excellent. Best food we had on the entire trip. Food at Granary and the other Indian restaurant (for BBQ food serving kebabs and sizzlers) was mediocre. Over all a pleasant stay.

We stayed here at the humongous property and Miss Bhagyashree who was very humble, polite, sweet, was there to assist us throughout the stay and make it a memorable one. Amazing job done by Mr. Murthy for his knowledge and communication and educating us with the plantation walks to cultural dances. I even went for a early morning cycling to a nearby village which was adopted by the resorts contributing to Eco sustainability. There was no plastic usage by the property in any manner from bottles to packaging and dustbin. The food was simply amazing had the North Indian thali and South Indian thali for lunch which is a must-have. Not forgetting the amazing romantic candlelight dinner experience at the peppercorn restaurant with amazing food, service and ambience. Special thanks to Ms Bhagyashree for the sweet and wonderful surprise at the restaurant. Finally, the goodbye was with a glass bottle of water and coffee beans which smelled divine. Definitely, a must-visit.

Evolve back in coorg is one of the best resorts i have been to. U are surrounded by forest and their own coffee plantation on all the side. The aura of tranquility comes from the calm that place has. The rooms are wonderfully designed cottages with all the modern amenities with your own plunge pool. There are 3 lovely restaurants serving scrumptious food with a variety of cusines, and again, the south indian cuisine is the best. The staff be it from the reception, housekeeping, restaurant or the person taking u out on a coffee plantation safari everyone is down to earth hard working polite and one of the best in hospitality industry. Evolve back has its own standard of hospitality, and their standards are pretty high from the industry standards. The coffee plantation safari is a must should be done. I enjoyed every moment of my stay with evolve back and have made some wonderful memories in the tranquility of nature.

Placed at perfect location it's actually evolving back from a tiered city life to a peaceful mind. Loved the food and courteous staff who welcomed and made us feel at home. We lived in heritage pool villa. Room cleanliness privacy is 5 on 5. Food was perfect and the stretch of variety they offer in not only breakfast, lunch and dinner but also in high tea in garnary. They have 3 restaurants. I have heard peppercorn and plain leaf veg only is also good. The ayurvedic spa massage is a must do thing. They also had cultural activities at 7:30 pm and other activities through out the day to keep guests entertained. Reading lounge to indulge in self time with a perfect view and gym as well. They have various shops nature shop, souvenir shop that promotes preserving purity of nature and culture of land. Ratings room 5/5.

An excellent and a relaxed weekend stay. You step out of your room and hear ' Namaskara' all the way, such courteous staff with a big smile always. The housekeeping staff are excellent, they give us such a clean stay with replenishes morning and evening. It was monsoon time and we enjoyed the fresh rains. Food was really good. The BBQ could still be better. Mr. Dinesh, the chief chef personally speaks to his guests which is a wonderful note. Food at both the granary and the plantain leaf was good. The spa could still open a little early by 7 am at least, first slot being at 9am is a little late. Point to note is that the pool depth is painted in the side, is not visible initially, this could result in danger when kids want to enter the pool. They could have a board mentioning this clearly. Apart from these, Orange County is a must visit resort and will be there for the next monsoon.

Our entire stay was extremely disappointing, first our booking being automatically canceled by the property and then having to pay a lot more to rebook. The food was either under-cooked or overcooked and just plain average to eat. Their service was terrible, from waiters walking away mid order or our room phones not working and having no one coming to fix if for two days. Most of the staff had no idea how to guide us or we’d have to wait an hour for them to just get back to us. I also noticed they only advertise their pool villas that look serene, everything else from the 3 restaurants to their activities room all look extremely mismatched and worn down. Just overall not worth the money at all, definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Planning a vacation post covid is always challenging and we decided to go ahead with evolve-back as the preferred choice for our trip to coorg. The hospitality and warmth right from our arrival at the reception till the day we checked out was crafted with care and warmth. This was made possible by the very professional and endearing staff and management who went the extra mile to esnure a delightful experience for us. Special mention for ms. Bhagyashree as the guest relation manager for all the help and attention to detail during our stay. The property location, food across all 3 restaurants and hygiene is exemplary and deserves a strong mention. Hope to be back soon in the lap of nature.

Super place to relax, enjoy with sumptuous food varieties, with 3 different restaurants. Wonderful well maintained property & well trained staff & employees. Enjoyed litres who were superb are: 1. Ms neetu mahajan, 2. All the cooks - rajendran in peppercorn, granny & plantain leaf. 3. Pradesh - driver of buggy very helpful. 4. Siva - plantation walk guide. Also many who had interacted with us were very warm & helpful. Our tree-too dinner on 24th feb my birthday was memorable experience for many years to follow until we have our next one in future. Excellent menu choices for strict vegetarians. A lot of walking keeping oneself fit

The Resort is a perfect place for the honeymoon goers to enjoy Luxury privacy and peace with the natural beauty of Coorg. I wish the Hotel would continue the performance which it served to me and wish them a luck for the future.

Located in the heart of coorg coffee plantation area. It covers a huge area of forest and nature lovers will enjoy this stay. Upon arrival till the end the staffs were so friendly and accommodating. Plantation walls were so cool and we get to know a lot of different things. Food was perfect and rooms are maintained neatly.

Very nice rooms in the middle of a coffee plantation worth all the money. Good food and efficient staff. Well done evolve back team.

Fantastic stay and what a property.

We stayed Taj Madhikeri,,Tamara Coorg,Ayatana Coorg….but this property is awesome,great staff,amazing food,and food is next level…must try candle night dinner.

It's the best resort in Coorg if you can spare this kind of money. Service is excellent, location is far from Madikeri and other tourist spots. They pamper you till the end. Our best stay anywhere till now.
