EVOLVE BACK, COORG

My experience was excellent, except at your restaurant, Peppercorn, where the ambience was very dull! U just depend on a few candles to run this big place trust me u need more! It was the worst dining experience! Chairs were very low very unfortunate tables were very small! Staff were very lazy they prefer to serve before us brown! Trust me that experience sour my Amazing experience with u guys! Except peppercorn ambiance and service staff, everything was amazing! I'm highly allergic to shellfish! Instead of telling everyone I was served prawns and with that low light it was very difficult to identify! Good grace I did and nothing happened!

Evolve back was an experience rather than just a stay. Lovely food, great vibe and hospitality was top notch. DEFINITELY A MUST VISIT

This was my second time at an Evolve Back property, and no qualms in admitting that it was worth every penny. Surprisingly enough, even north indian food was good. Special shout out to Vinod from housekeeping who was kind enough to address every request I had. Location was easy to find, and the property is conveniently located, about an hour from all major tourist points. Few things that could be improved on - given that the property is in the middle of a jungle almost, some better steps to avoid insects and worms crawling into the room. And may be staff can be better trained to not ask personal questions.

Evolve back at Coorg brought back memories of the ‘orange county’ resort I visited in the year 2. It had a perfect mix of rain, sun and cool weather and a great spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All three restaurants provided the right kind of comfort and taste for my family. Stay was fantastic and cozy.

The stay was comfortable. The hotel staff and Pooja who was our one point contact during our stay in Evolve back ensured our stay was a memorable one. The food and candle light dinner was good. Loved being in the nature.

I recently stayed at Evolve Back, Coorg, and it was truly a memorable experience. The property itself is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by greenery that immediately gives you a sense of peace and connection with nature. The entire atmosphere feels serene and luxurious at the same time, making it a perfect getaway from the rush of city life. The service deserves a special mention – from the warm welcome during check-in to the courtesy of the staff throughout the stay, everything was handled with care and professionalism. It really felt like the team went out of their way to ensure comfort. That said, there are two areas where the property could improve. Some of the furniture in the rooms had a dust (Khank) , which happens in old furnitures etc, otherwise immaculate upkeep. Also, while the food was excellent in terms of quality and freshness, the taste could be enhanced to better match the high standards of the resort. Overall, I would highly recommend Evolve Back, Coorg, for its beauty, hospitality, and unique charm, while hoping to see minor improvements on my next visit.

The resort was clean and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene and refreshing atmosphere. Breakfast served on a plantain leaf was a delightful and authentic touch, and dinner at Pepper Corn was enjoyable. However, dinner at Granary felt quite average, with limited options—especially when compared to other resorts we've visited recently. The Heritage Villa was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It would be even more convenient to have a handwash sink outside the bathroom. We also expected a more comfortable seating arrangement in the living room; the old-style furniture lacked the coziness we were hoping for. The private swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay—relaxing and well-kept. Overall, we had a pleasant experience with nothing major to complain about. With a few improvements, this resort could offer an even more exceptional stay.

The decoration & housekeeping team, Manjula,Sanjay,Vinod and chandru did a fantastic job in setting up our room beautifully, adding thoughtful touches that made our experience even more special. It was a delight to walk into such a well-adorned space, reflecting the resort’s attention to detail and luxury. The candlelight dinner experience at Pepercorn was nothing short of magical, with a romantic ambience and exquisite dining under the stars. We also had a wonderful time at the plantain leaf, which served delicious and authentic flavours that truly impressed us. The **plantation walk with Gopala** was a fascinating journey through the lush coffee estates, where we learned about the region’s rich agricultural heritage. To top it off, the **Kudagu cultural show** was a mesmerizing display of local traditions, bringing the spirit of Coorg alive. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so extraordinary. We can’t wait to return!

Evolve Back has our hearts. I’ll be honest, when we first booked our trip, it was only because it was a recommendation from a friend. The destination wasn’t all that difficult to get to. It was an easy, unassuming decision. Little did we know that it would quickly become one of our favorite holidays. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, green is all that meets the eye. There’s so much to do, so much to learn, from the team of expert naturalists. They truly care and it reflects in the way they lead the activities. Our days were packed with a lot of cool learning experiences and equal parts relaxing time. We’d recommend all the activities, the ecycle ride, the plantation walk, elk hill ride, birdwatching, coffeology lesson and quite frankly anything and everything they have to offer. There’s special performances in the evening by local kodava people, which you cannot miss! The views from the machan and elk hill ride are something else. Can’t get them out of my mind. Oh and get the massage at Vaidyashala. One word for it- revitalizing. Activities aside, the food was an experience in itself. There’s 3 varied dining experiences and I’m sure everyone will find something they’ll enjoy. Personally, we loved Plantain Leaf the best, and of course grabbing coffee at the Reading Lounge.! Lastly, special mention about the hospitality at the resort. It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen. Truly the best team of naturalists, executives, housekeeping staff, dining staff and all other supporting staff. I’ll quickly list down the staff we’ve personally interacted with, who have truly made a great difference to our stay at Evolve Back, Coorg- Bhavya, Anvita, Subbaiah, Honey, Vivek, Gopal, Vino, Jisha, Prasanna, Saibu, Theja, Ebrahim, Rohan. Their warmth, enthusiasm, expertise and kindness was inspiring to say the least. Thank you!
