Faraway Cottages

I visited auli in february 2024 with my mother, choosing faraway cottages as our stay for 2 nights. It's a beautiful property, extremely hygienic, offers splendid views of the ice clad mountains. We stayed in a superior luxury cottage, the amenities were up to the mark and all our requests were taken care of the staff promptly. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming. Plus points to the amazing location of this property, the rooms are very spacious and the private balcony adds to the beauty of this place. They have a beautiful restaurant too, the food is amazing as well. For us, the staff recommended local food and it turned out to be great! a truly amazing experience!

Location 100% perfect. The accommodations exude elegance and comfort, featuring himalayan-inspired decor that complements the breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks visible from the rooms. This place looks more beautiful in real life, pictures are just a hint. Its seamless blend of comfort, nature, and exceptional hospitality promises a truly unforgettable stay. They also focus on authentic local food and it is a must try to get whole experience of the garhwal and kumaoni cuisines the cottage serene location makes it an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat. Highly recommend it.

Excellent is the word describing faraway cottages, joshimath. Would have given them more than 5 points if possible. Awesome scenic view from the comfort of your room. Feels like sitting in the lap of nature. Quality & tasty food. Very helpful staff & service to help you out in every way possible. Found it way better than other home stays & resorts in that area. A must try for quiet, peace loving people with lots of activities within a little distance from the resort.

The stay was beautiful! the best view you can get of snow clad mountains ! it was peaceful and serene. The design & architect of the stay was elite & spacious. The staff was extremely sweet & helpful! big thanks to sandeepji & harish for taking good care of us! the only thing that needs a bit improvement is the taste of food. No doubt the quality & freshness of the food was impeccable but the taste needs a bit more improvement overall an amazing experience!

Beautiful location and stay. Service is excellent. Food has to be improved and other facilities like telecom, laundry should be there for customers. Rest everything is good. Rooms are cozy.
