Farmagudi Residency

Farmagudi Residency is a very good Farmagudi Residency maintained by the State Government with very cooperating staff. They extend help to the customers in every possible manner. This Farmagudi Residency is much more value than the money spent. The only downside is there is no good restaurant attached with the Farmagudi Residency. Contractor of restaurant is not worried about hygiene of food. At one moment he will touch his pet dog and the other moment he is in the kitchen without washing hands. We had to arrange bread and butter/jam for breakfast every single day of stay. Other meals we had were at the restaurants of our choice.

Good location. Close to all temples. But even after so many years, no improvement in room services for breakfast or evening tea. We had actually reserved the suite room for my parents as its closer to dining area. Otherwise u may be allotted rooms, where u need to walk a lot of steps. Not ideal for senior citizens. But manager had given our reserved suite room to election commissioner. Thankfully, she arranged for room service of breakfast and evening tea to our room. Otherwise would have been a problem for my parents. Good for an overnight stay, if visiting the temple. As location is very close to the temples

Pleasant and resting place. Food was good. Service of orders was good.
Location was excellent with a beautiful hill view. Inside room windows did not have mosquito net. TV was old CRT monitor type and placed over dressing table in front of mirror. Obscuring the dressing mirror. Daily service of change of bath towels and water bottles was not being done. Food was fine and ambience of restaurant was good. But it was not ac restaurant. Reception didn't have internet. It was peaceful and full of wide open space full of natural beauty and flowers and fauna.

Rooms were clean. Surrounding area was well maintained. Loved the food at the Green Hill restaurant was very tasty and reasonably priced by Goan standards. May be because the place belongs to GTDC, the people at front desk were not very flexible. We requested checking out 1 room after 30 minutes of check out time but were declined. Fun Stuff: They keep pieces of Soap in Locker. The room service takes those tiny soaps from locker to place in guest room. It was totally LOL moment.

The Farmagudi Residency is located near ponda where the forest area starts. Its close to the mangeshi temple. Its a decent place to stay and relax near the hills as long as you don't have high expectations from the staff and their service etc, its run by goa state tourism department and the staff were simple and helpful. The place is remote, therefore recommended only for people with their own vehicle, as you'll need to drive a bit to go anywhere or even a restaurant.

We like the service, and it was quick. Good scenic location surrounded by nature. Rooms were quite spacious, particularly the 4 bed. This is a value for money. The rooms are divided in to cottages. Drinks are available in the restaurant. There are quite a lot of cute dogs around. They are friendly. The cottages are built on the up-hill. Hence you need to climb few steps to reach the cottage every time you come from the beach. Overall, a nice experience.

Located in the hills of farmagudi, lush green picturesque view from rooms and small walkways lead you to your rooms cozy and well looked after. Hygine is satisfactory and safety standards and protocols are adhered to. Foid you get room service for lunch and dinner within the campus green hill which is just ordinary. Nearby locations have few good restaurants like punjabi restaurant. Stay was comfortable and easy as work was in iit, goa.

Food preparation should be hygienic in green hill restaurant. Dog (domestic) should not have access to the restaurant kitchen, which was really disgusting to discover. Restaurant staff should collect the empty utensils lying outside the rooms very quickly, which are readily accessed by the stray dogs wandering around the Residency. Dishes should be prepared with lesser Salt.

Restaurant not available in Farmagudi Residency. That was the very big problem.

Simple and nice rooms, a lot of stairs to reach to room.TV is just for display doesn't work.

Beautiful scenery and views, amongst a forest area, so we got clean water. Prefer this place only if you are arriving by car, as it is accessible to Baga, Calangute, basillica of bom jesus, Colva in 40 minutes.

Food is very expensive and taste doesn't match the price

Location wise it is really good. As it is little far from Ponda or any other city. It is really peace place. Natural beauty is also present there. Little bit aware about snacks, as Farmagudi Residency is surrounded by many trees. Foods of the restaurant is bit costly. Other services are good.

The room was OK. The place is nice for a walk. Its a bit far from the city. The food was not that great for the money that we paid. The rooms share a common door which is latched. Sometimes there is noise from the neighbours room. The room service is good. The place is neatly maintained. If you want to stay away from city and relax its nice.

Best service and Facility Farmagudi residency are most likely to get the money for a few minutes to go to the hospital for the day. I will have a great time and where is the only thing that has to do with it.

Very nice place to stay. Staff are very cooperative and helpful.

We had a great stay. Since we had our own vehicle commutation was not at all difficult. Hotel is close to Mahalasa Narayani temple, Mardol. Food at Green Hill, their in house restaurant does not provide variety in breakfast and is quite expensive. Overall good experience.
