Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection

Well, this was not my first choice while booking. But going by the reviews i opted for this place, and it was a really good decision. First, some negatives. Elderly and those having trouble walking can find this place a bit difficult. I mean they did have a club car but it could be cumbersome. I mean my kid counted almost 60 steps from the main security gate to our room on ground floor. Secondly, there is some really good view from the ground floor - with swimming pool and a terrace restaurant, and there is lot of open space for sitting and soaking in the view of udaipur and the sajjangarh, but almost entire place is useless during hot days as there are no fans. Winters and monsoon could be a different story but we visited in summer time. Now the room, it was not just spacious, but enormous. The one they offered (room # 15) us had a nice view of pool and udaipur on one side and hillock and valley from the other side. Had 2 a. C, wifi, minibar, tea-coffe maker, hair dryer, bathtub, shower area and all the basic amenities. They could add dental kit and shaving kit - but then i am being fussy here, as i cannot find anything else to rant. Then there is food, it was really really good, but then i had huge expectations (i dont know why) and it was not met. But again, i am being fussy. The service at restaurant was a bit slow - took long time to even bring drinks. Food taking time - i can understand. But a beer took almost 9-10 minutes to be served. Maybe i was very thirsty so i feel so. Now the crowning jewels of this place is the staff. Very very few places i have found such a team. Everybody is smiling and greeting you - and it is genuine smile. Everybody mean everybody - from the security staff to front desk to the serving staff and housekeeping staff. I mean the housekeeping staff really approached us asked about the cleanliness of room and whether we like something. Even the housekeeping staff asked us to visit again - this you almost only get from the front desk. For each and very staff member. Raam raam sa!

I AM RATING YOU 5 OUT OF 5 BECAUSE MMT DOESN’T ALLOW ME TO RATE 10 OUT OF 5. We had booked a heritage suite with balcony for 3 days in this amazing property. Nestled in the hills outside the city, this property offers an amazing view of the surrounding hills and the Fateh Sagar Lake. The room was huge, the bathroom was of the size of a normal bedroom of 5 star business Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collections and the balcony was marvellous with a great view. The property is a huge one and has a heritage feel to it everywhere. And the staff and their hospitality- that’s just out of the world - they are there to take care of your every demand with a broad smile always and sometimes you don’t have to even ask for it .. as an example, I drink a lot of black tea and obviously ran out of tea bags in 8 hours - next day when they cleaned the room and replenished the stuff, I saw they have put in more tea bags and water bottles and I had not even asked for it. Gestures like this always leaves a long lasting impression. Only constructive feedbacks I can think of are to have more dustbins in the property premises and probably one in the balcony also and please put a floor mat in the bathroom and add some toothbrush and toothpaste in the toiletry kit but these are small things and can be easily bypassed.

It was an amazing stay. The resort truly justifies its 5 star rating. 1. The views of pichola lake, green mountains from the resort are breathtaking. It is situated in a natural landscape and away from the city crowd. 2. The staff is very professional, courteous and polite. Just love their hospitality. Service is also top notch. We were there with our 2 year old baby but we never had to face any difficulty regarding her food. Their chef cooked whatever we ordered for our baby and that too with home like taste. Each staff member is very cooperative - sh. Mukesh, sh. Radhe, sh. Bhanwar lal, sh. Dinesh to name a few. 3. Food is very tasty and there are lot of options. Cheese cake and a loo chutney-wale is a must try. Breakfast also have a lot of options. 4. They also host a lot of activities like zip line, archery shooting, visit to their vintage car museum etc. Swimming pools are also awesome and night view of the pool and the surroundings is just awe inspiring. It is a must visit property whether your are with your family, kids or friends. One of the best in udaipur.

We had a great stay at fateh garh. Staff is very friendly and they make you feel very comfortable. Everyone is ready to offer help. We visited with our 6 months old daughter. They even offered to look after her while we had our meals, and offered to prepare special meals for her as well. People at their restaurant are also very helpful and friendly. Food is great, view around the property is very scenic and rooms are also beautiful and hygienic. Pool is very beautiful and clean. They provide you with a dedicated host to help you out with any concerns. Our host ms veena was very polite and helpful. We had a one day stay at taj aravalli as well, however without a doubt i can say that we enjoyed more at fateh garh and hospitality wise it’s even better than taj aravali. Only downside is that the taxi drivers increase fare like anything to pick you up and drop you there, but i think that’s the issue everywhere in udaipur, taxi fares are extremely high.

fatehgarh is actually my favourite place in udaipur because the rooms and view from the property is amazing and hospitality is wonderful. in the beginning i booked it for one night but once we checked i got to know that my decision is wrong and this is property where one should spend atleast 03 nights. i immediately changed my stay to 03 nights and i really enjoyed my time here. i would highly appreciate gm of Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection mr devendra singh rathore ji who was always there to look after guest and taking a feedback of there stay which is really great at hospitality point of view. i would highly recommend everyone to stay here and feel like you are at home. food was amazing and when we had a long drive manish was courteous enough to ask during breakfast that shall we something for your baby and he packed some muffins, donuts, sandwiches etc.. for the drive which is out the box and highly appreciated.

So, this was our 3rd visit to this Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection, with 1st along-with an 8 month old infant. The Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection services are impeccable with clean rooms and very good restaurant staff. A special thanks to mahendrasinh at the restaurant for being very prompt and polite. However, a few things that the Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection can improve on are 1. As a Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection of this level, they didn’t have a high chair to put the baby during mealtimes 2. They didn’t have a baby bath tub to bathe the baby and neither did they have a stool to sit while bathing. 3. The bathroom slipper quality can be improved as these are flimsy and tear easily 4. Vanity kit+sewing kit can be provided. It’s a fantastic Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection with probably the best views of udaipur city, only if they can make it baby friendly, that would be great.

The property is beautiful, no doubt. Picturesque even! the staff are polite and helpful. Food is good. They have a good collection of liquor in the bar too. When we went, it was off season, so not many tourists. That's why there was no buffet dinner or breakfast. Since we had booked both breakfast and dinner, they let us order anything from the menu for dinner. Which was great. But breakfast wasn't great as they had a limited menu to order from instead of a full spread and it felt rushed. Also, the swimming pool, albeit beautiful, didn't have a single safety feature, let alone a lifeguard. No handrails, nothing. Definitely unsafe. The rooms, even though large, are pretty basic and give a rustic feel. Good quality toiletries but poor towels and robes. Overall, a decent stay for the price.

What an experience at Fatehgarh Resort...... excellent hospitality and our stay at the resort.....all the staff were so warm and welcoming and the food was amazing too and above all the location of the resort, decor and especially Chowk surrounded by rooms was amazing and mesmerizing.....🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Definitely i would suggest everyone to visit this amazing Fatehgarh Resort!!

The property is well maintained. Staff is courteous. Approach road is bit tricky, needs guidance. Availabiloty of hot water is not upto mark.

It is one of the best resorts i have ever stayed in. The staff behaviour is very admiring and the service is very good. The room, swimming area, everything is so perfect. So the property is very unique in all the way. You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise with a specific viewpoint. I would recommend staying here with family, friends and as a couple as well.

An excellent resort with very helpful staff. The Fateh Garh Resort by Fateh Collection is very well done. Though it’s somewhat remote from the city, this is offset by the excellent views and interesting architecture. Staff is very helpful and hospitable, and food is very good.

This is a heritage property located in the aravalli hills of udaipur. I loved the view from rooms. Beautifully maintained property with activities like vintage car museum tour, nature walk etc. The infinity pool is awesome. Only issue was the food- not very good taste and extremely costly with limited menu options
