Fenicia Riverside Resort

Once MMT helped me re-confirm a non smoking and quiet room that had a peaceful and tranquil view, my excursion to Mayfair was absolutely wonderful. Did I have issues? Sure. After all this is in a small village in India, where one need not sweat the small stuff and keep their sense of humor handy were they fixed? Yes and very well too. Would I visit them again? Most definitely, yes! Ranjit, the catering manager jumped through hoops to make my stay there memorable, after a botched up morning room service coffee, which took over 10 visits to get straight for me and a guest who had stopped in. I felt like I was in a Buster Keaton or Laurel and Hardy skit to get 2 coffees and 2 orders of croissants. The coffee comedy of the first morning was completely missing with some amazingly tasty, hot coffee and a basket steaming croissants Wow! Any 5-star would be envious of it and the effort and focus on detail. The dinner at the Mayflower was delicious. It was one of the best meals I've had in South Goa. I requested of we could eat out in the open and not in the restaurant. This didn't seem like a common request but Ranjit honoured it. I was enjoying my time outside by the pool and didn't feel like being cloistered in an air conditioned, restaurant environment. Once again the service was impeccable. The meal scrumptious and the atmosphere being out there alone simply out of this world. The rooms would bring to shame most 5-star Fenicia Riverside Resorts and the bathroom was enormous and bright. I loved the soap and shampoo that they provided. I didn't ask for but I would've loved to have bought some for my own bathroom in Goa and in the US. Do give Mayfair a shot. I did. And loved it.

The Fenicia Riverside Resort is a hideaway resort not very close to the main city. The Fenicia Riverside Resort has breathtaking landscaping including well manicured garden's, swimming pool, view of the sea, lounge area, pool table, small gym, multicuisine restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is very good. The chef is excellent. Rooms are spacious with very impressive interiors. Staff is very courteous. Check-in and checkout is very smooth. The Fenicia Riverside Resort also has a small Shiva Temple. Best place for relaxation. Only drawback is that the Fenicia Riverside Resort does not arrange for transportation. Some travel agents refuse to come to the Fenicia Riverside Resort for guest pickup.

Booking through makemytrip was good. As mentioned the Fenicia Riverside Resort name is changed to fenicia riverside resort, goa from mayfair hideaway spa and resort. Location is in quite place, with a lake and sea view in vicinity, but remember both are not accessible through resort. Ambience is great. Well maintained. Service is good. Rooms are very good with well maintained toilets. Complimentary breakfast is good but lunch and dinner they do taste good but variety on menu is less. Better order in room than going to attached restaurant. Overall a good resort to spend time in south goa. Food menu for lunch and dinner might have increased.

We wanted to stay in south goa this time so booked this property. This property matched all the expectations and the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Also, lot of greenery inside the property which makes it even more perfect for a holiday. Garden and pool everything is well maintained. Beds are very very comfortable. Had a very good sleep at night. Big bathtubs are there in all rooms which is great for relaxing. Only drawback i felt was that the some room appliances are old and needs to be replaced. That is all. But overall it was an amazing experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

The resort is quite far from beaches, the overall ambience is excellent. We felt that the resort is overpriced for the services they provide. No Fenicia Riverside Resorts or restaurants available outside the resort, so you have to depend on the restaurant which is inside the resort. The restaurant is again overpriced and very few varieties. The service is very good, the people working there have polite gesture. Swimming pool is clean. Breakfasf was good. Huge rooms with huge and clean bathrooms. Overall the stay was very good expect for the pricing which i felt was overpriced

The resort is beautifully done on a small area, well maintained with nearly all facilities that is expected of a good 4 or 5 star Fenicia Riverside Resorts. the food was good, but dinner buffet was available only on those days when the occupancy was good. on low occupancy day, we had to pick our choice from an a la carte menu. Wifi connectivity was poor. Worse, there was no access to the beach. The closest one was cavalossim which is 10 km away and the taxi fares are sky high to get there also, the resort is super fat away from the airport. I wouldn't go there a second time.

The Fenicia Riverside Resort is located on shore of a small river. From the swimming pool area you can see the small river meeting the large seal river and river in turn meeting the sea. The location is peaceful with not many resorts or Fenicia Riverside Resorts around. The rooms were super large and spacious with all excellent amenities. Bathroom and changing rooms were gigantic. Food served at Fenicia Riverside Resort was tasty but a bit expensive compared to goan standards and doesn't offer authentic goan food. But otherwise a super stay.

It was awesome rooms and awesome views staff behaviour is good and staff is also and the views of poolside is so pretty in evening and morning also the Resort was so awesome and cleaned also.

Very isolated and peaceful place to stay. Food is good but little bit costly. Rooms are very spacious.

The stay was good, pool was amazing, staff behaviour was good. Breakfast was amazing with variety of dishes on the buffet.

I loved my stay there. Place location is nice and staff is wonderful.

Except WiFi and distance from beach. Overall Fenicia Riverside Resort is awesome if you want a peaceful stay.

Location and ambiance is good,

Goa is for beaches but this property is very far from beach. At-least ones has to travel 12 kms to get to a nearest beach which is visible from the resport. The river and access hinders easy access to the sea. The food is very average. Lots of cost cutting very evident despite charging huge daily rentals. The landscaping, swimming pool and cleanliness is good. Round the clock hot water with bathtub is very good to relax. But overall the facility is good but not cost justified.

Value for money. Only issue is the location but after staying you and will not regret.

Lovely boutique Resort with excellent art and architecture

Stay at Fenicia Riverside Resort was a bad experience for me and my husband. Please check the reviews before you are booking such resprts. The only thing I appreciate about this resort is the courteous staff they have which is also very limited. They do not have a good chef. Rooms are unhygienic, smelly, insects and ants can visit your room any time. Mattresses are not good and smelly. The architecture of room are way more old and scary. They do not clean their pool either pale yellow water all the time in the pool.
