Ferdin Cottage | Rooms & Pool

the ambience of the cottage is really nice and welcoming. location of the cottage is at a very calm place away from the hustle of most other Ferdin Cottage | Rooms & Pools, and ideally placed near to the sunset beach. the pool and garden are really what makes the cottage a wonderful place to stay. however room experience was just average and there are lots of things to improve. listing out few observations according to our experience. 1. no provision of a cupboard for keeping things. need to put everything on sofa or tv stand. 2. ⁠no provision for hanging clothes. seriously this was very irritating, and we had to spread the wet clothes on the tv stand. how come this basic thing can be ignored in a Ferdin Cottage | Rooms & Pool with higher room rates? 3. ⁠cleanliness of bed and towels. a big minus point. pillows were very dirty after long use and we had to bring another bed sheet to cover over the pillows. bedsheets were also torn apart after prolonged use and washing. the bath towels had stains and marks. thankfully we had our own towels in hand. 4. ⁠ac was not functioning properly in of the rooms we booked. from what we heard from other occupants, this is a common issue. 5. ⁠no restaurant available. there’s a canteen with 1 or 2 staff, which allows you to order food and they’ll cook on demand. this will take time. the food was okay, just like homely food. but the price is on the higher side. if these can be improved, definitely this will be a nice place for a wonderful stay in kanyakumari.

We had a mixed experience at this property. Initially, the staff was quite rude when assisting us with filling out some necessary information, and unfortunately, this behavior was directed towards my son. However, after that, their attitude improved, and they were more pleasant throughout the rest of our stay. The property itself is quite nice. We opted for a standard room, which turned out to be a bit unconventional as it had three bedrooms within the same room, which suited us since we were three people in total. If you're traveling with a large group or family, this setup might work well for you. The washroom was basic and could have been better, but it served its purpose. The restaurant is also very basic with only a handful of options available. On a positive note, the swimming pool, though small, was well-maintained and a pleasant place to relax. The property is a bit away from the main attractions, but we personally liked the location as we prefer to stay away from crowded areas. Overall, it’s a good option for groups, but not ideal for those seeking a more private or upscale bathroom experience, or those looking for more variety in dining.

Overall my stay is good and i enjoyed a lot inside the cottage, it is very secure, has ample car parking, a neat swimming pool and a natural environment. The cottage is located near to the main tourist spots and the location is very calm with fresh air. It has a very good environment with a garden setup. You feel and love it definitely. A restaurant is available with homely food. The property manager is very kind and supportive.

The atmosphere is very good, we don't had food from the restaurant so we don't know it, we stayed in room 105, it's a space constraints and wash basin fitted near bed feel bad, the possibility to wet the bed noted all else it's a quiet, beautiful well maintained stay and the staff also very helpful

It was a good experience in the Ferdin Cottage | Rooms & Pool, however, the washroom is small and doesn't have a mirror. The swimming pool is good. We did not get much time to spend in the Ferdin Cottage | Rooms & Pool.

स्टाफ का व्यवहार अच्छा है, सफाई व्यवस्था ठीक है। बाथरूम क्लीन हैं। नए व्यक्ति को पहुंचने में कुछ कठिनाई रहती है। लोकेशन 200 मीटर दूर पार्किंग में शो होती है। बीच के सामने है लोकेशन अच्छी है। बीच बहुत सुंदर है।

It was a lovely stay. The rooms were neat & clean, the staff was very hospitable & sweet also the food was fine. It's a good stay with family and friends.
