"We have found a New Home in this part of the country and extended family for us" Both Mr.Dexter & Ms.Debbie are lovely couple & hosts who care for their guests which Gives anyone a comfortable and perfect stay!! We have been there for holiday and Extended the stay as Workcation !! indeed it's best place for it .!! They would Arrange for Jeep Safari, Kathakali,Kalari Shows on request!! You get Nice local Food is available within Walkable Distance!! Definitely not for Fancy people 😉!! Yet You get More than for what you pay!! Opt for front facing Deluxe Rooms for more room !! Thank you Mr.Dexter& Ms.Debbie for giving us lovely memories!! We shall see you often from now. Cheers!!

Good location this homestay. Surrounding greenery view was very nice and beautiful. Rooms, balcony and bathrooms well maintained and very clean and hygienic. Owner behaviour is very polite and respectful. They are really very much honest, helpful and responsible. One purse along with cash and valuable documents kept inside wardrobe and forgot to get it unfortunately during check out. But they informed me after leaving the room and immediately they arranged to return it to my address. So we are thankful to them. Of-course i recommend to other visiters to stay safe and secure.

The host was welcoming us with love and affection , they helped us with late check-in and check-out. we had requested food for baby which was prepared by the host itself with free of cost. we had enjoyed our two night stay. if you stay here you will never need a guide. Debby Uncle will help you with all the locations. The host Aunty helped us to make our elephant ride affordable😁. All i want to say it was an affordable stay with Good caretaker and excellent Rooms.

Overall stay was good. The room was clean. It is a very small room though but it was good. There were a few things for which we had to go and ask for ex. There was only one towel, set top box was not recharged, there was no wifi, data connectivity ok the phone was good though. The quilt was to short and didn't cover our whole body by the time we realized it, it was too late at night so we had to manage with that. The owners were good and helpful.

We stayed there for 2 nights. This homestay is worth for relaxation. And also near to the main kumily area. When we visited this house the regular servant were on Diwali vacation, but still the home owners were always caring and asking for any help anytime. They didn't make us realise this servants deficiency. Home owners are very good, home is very good, atmosphere is very good, go for this stay.

The moment you reach their homestay, they welcome you as one of their family member and helps you out throughout the stay. The rooms were good with all the amenities in a homely location. Dexter has his own jeep and they provide cheap service in comparison to one in the market. The driver was good and took us to all the places without any hesitation.

Very good location they taken very good. Guide us the location and area where we can see sight seeing that was amazing place. They gave extra pillow and bedsheets without additional cost. They guide where we will get good Ferndale Homestay/restaurant food. Overall experience is very good. Hospitality was very good. Rooms are very neat and clean

Really Worth mentioning that it was the complete package in terms of comfort and relaxation. The services and staff was so humble and cooperative. I experienced a wonderful time during my stay with my family at the property. The food was delicious. Recommend everyone to stay for every occasion.

We stayed here for 1 night and we had really nice homemade breakfast in the morning. Ferndale family is really nice and also they have suggested some good place to buy local spices and chocolates. Rooms are also neat and clean. I recommend this place.

Property is around 3 kms away from periyar tiger reserve. Location surrounding is very nice. Rooms are clean. They provide tea - coffee in the morning.

I was travelling solo and loved the couple who hosted me. Greenery all around. The Homestay is near kumily city in 1st mile town. To reach Kumily you can walk a bit and take shared auto for Rs 10 each.

The stay was very nice. Homely property ambiance and surrounding was also peaceful and calm. Staffs were helpful and cooperative. Room was clean and comfortable but compared to the price the size of the room was small. Property was value for money.

This is a simple homestay very close to kumily town, you will find few restaurants in 1-2 kms radius, very friendly hosts, helped us in booking all our sightseeing activities.

Not sure about the food arrangements

The host family was very nice. There is a double bed and one single bed enough for a small family. Nice balcony with fresh flowers all around.
