Fireflies Kabini

Very scenic earthy resort along kabini river bank and close to outskirts of nagarhole tiger reserve kakanote gate. We reached late at night but staff were kind enough to serve us dinner at that hour despite their shift ending soon. They made us feel comfortable and at ease instantly. The resort decor is earthy and soothing to the eyes. The room we were in was spacious and even with an extra bed there was sufficient floor space to walk around. Can spend hours sitting on comfortable sofa chairs in lawn facing verandah and looking at beautiful scenery. The nifty accessories in the room like umbrella and a torch shows great thought put in behind the scenes. We were on a full board package and it is recommended as there were no restaurants eating options nearby. Besides the buffet spread for all meals is good and food tasted very nice. We were lucky to have been served well by subhash and srinivas. They constantly checked on us and were prompt to serve us with our requests. Nagesh at reception is also very responsive and helpful. We went to a jeep safari based on his recommendations and got lucky at sighting a tiger up close. Lastly if you have enough time at hand, there are plentiful activities to partake in like carrom, football, badminton, swimming, volleyball - we enjoyed playing cricket on the grassy lawns.

The location is excellent, just beside the back water kabini. Food is very tasty. All the staff's behaviour is very friendly. The room is very neat and clean and spacious. I really love the place.

Th eproxess of booking was seamless. The place was true to its rating on mmt. It was a good choice and i would rwly on mmt for further recommendations and booking as well

Location awesome, only last mile approach is not good. Food & Amenities great only there was not much technicalities with the SPA, expected far better.
