I had the pleasure of staying at the polo floatel in kolkata for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience! i opted for the heritage cabin with a stunning river view, and it exceeded my expectations. The views of the howrah bridge and vidyasagar set u from my cabin were simply breathtaking. Watching the sunset over the river was a sight to behold. The food at the polo floatel was exceptional. The menu offered a wide range of options, and each dish i tried was delicious and expertly prepared. The staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive to my needs throughout my stay. It's situated near several popular attractions, including the indian museum, new market, and prinsep ghat, making it easy to explore the city. The proximity to these landmarks saved me a lot of time and effort, and i was able to make the most of my trip. I had booked one private deck and one balcony, both the rooms were spacious and clean. Specially i love the experience of the private deck room, it was on the ground floor of the Polo Floatel (Newly Renovated) yet the vibes were amazing. The food was also great, a bit on the expensive side where tea is charged at 250- i felt the price could be made nominal for everyone to enjoy the dining experience. Overall i would give 4. 5 as there were few issues with the water dripping from the washroom tap, dead body of animal floating and stuck in the rope with foul smell. But upon telling it to the staff they worked to resolve it. I would definitely travel to this Polo Floatel (Newly Renovated) as it's inside the city yet it's a one of a kind stay floating in the river.

Kolkata as a city is an experience and staying at floatel just added to the charm. The Polo Floatel (Newly Renovated) is on the river! the heritage cabins on the ground floor give you a view of the hoogly right outside your window. Being so close to the water washes you over with peace. Breakfast at the sky deck lets you enjoy good food and a good view of the famous howrah bridge together. The staff was really sweet and helpful, ensuring a smooth experience and comfortable stay!

My stay was overall pleasant. The delicious food combined with the breathtaking view made our experience delightful. However, the room service left much to be desired, with delays and lack of attention to details. The most disappointing part was the rude behavior of the receptionist during our checkout, which soured an otherwise enjoyable stay. Better customer service would definitely enhance the Polo Floatel (Newly Renovated)'s reputation.

the experience of staying at polo floated was awesome 👌.so relaxing and refreshing trip. rooms are well cleaned and maintained cozy one. food is also good & well served. we also had a pleasant experience of listening to the live music while having lunch was superb. and the view of ganga from yacht roof top is splendid find so much peace of mind and fresh air...overall it is really a great pleasure spending time there 😀. thank you

Location - the best you think of in kolkata. From cbd to all tourist places of interest are either walking or 2 stops at public transport. Food and breakfast - foods are delicious. Amenities- ok better among 3 stars. There is no swimming pool but you have ganga ji, jump off anytime

The stay was great. The heritage room was clean, bathroom was clean with almost all amenities. Though there was no balcony so smoking is not allowed in the room. But overall its a nice stay.

Staying at this Polo Floatel (Newly Renovated) is good, with having great views of hooghly river. However quality of food need to improve, as per such high charges. Rates of food items are very high comparing the quality.
