Forest Canopy Thekkady

I stayed in Oak cottage for 3 nights, with my family last week.. It was indeed a great experience.. I was pretty impressed with the team they have, starting from reception down to drivers, helpers and not to leave out Restaurant team.. The weather was very pleasant late 20s during the day and late 10s during the night and rarely touching early 30s during mid day. The Forest Canopy Thekkady was pretty clean and really worth the money we spent. Food was excellent and the support team in restaurant was outstanding. We have a 14 months old baby and they could make special meals to suit his taste. 2 things that stood out in my mind are... 1. We engaged a private vehicle for Jeep safari (not through the Forest Canopy Thekkady, though there was not any difference in price). When we were about the leave, the Forest Canopy Thekkady security staff came running and collected the details of the vehicle (number plate, driver name, company name, contact number... - For security reasons, just in case the driver tries to misbehave or so.. I felt, we were in safe hands. 2. The Forest Canopy Thekkady has many trees and I was pretty impressed with one Jackfruit tree which had many Ripped jack fruits.. Seeing my interest, the restaurant Manager offered to cut/ pack and give me to take back home.. I was pretty impressed with his kind gesture. Overall, I was pretty impressed with my stay in Forest canopy and look forward to staying again... Best wishes.

We stayed in the Tule premium cottage and right from the time of check-in, till checkout, we enjoyed the best resort experience ever. To point out the highlights: 1. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to Mr. Bipin Daniel who guided us to our cottage in the resort's own van. 2. The cottage room is tastefully done with teak wood. The view from the room is exquisite. 3. WiFi is available everywhere 4. The one aspect where this resort beats all is the service. The staff is ever smiling and greets one all with a heartfelt namaskaaram. 5. The blooming cherry restaurant is outstanding as well. Special mention to Mr. Naseeb and Mr. Jose for their impeccable hospitality. We were served green salad and papad starters and provided fruits as dessert for every meal that we enjoyed there. 6. All the drivers of the resort are ever so welcoming during every ride that they offer between our cottage and the restaurant. 7. The swimming pool is on the smaller side but fairly well maintained. 8. The coffee shop offers amazing views too but you wouldnt miss out much if you don't order the icecream. 9. There is an outdoor play area to enjoy badminton and basketball. 10. Indoor play area is quite decent as well, we did not try out the gym. Hardly any points to improve upon, just that a larger pool would have been more comfortable, but given their constraints, this is understandable.

My newly married son and his wife visited forest canopy and stayed there a few months ago. They told us that the place is great. That’s how we decided to stay there for a short holiday and booked for jean 25-26. The resort is very conveniently located by the side of the national highway, yet free of dust and noise pollution. The staff are well behaved which means well trained. There is no intrusion into your privacy. Food is excellent though a bit costly. You are taken everywhere by the resort’s own vehicles( don’t attempt to climb to the pool / dining area which are perched high above! the ascent is too steep for your heart perhaps) but there are the resort’s vans at your beck and call. Yet i clambered two levels higher for tasting the scenic beauty. My wife and i liked the place immensely. We will surely recommend this place to our friends and relatives
Altogether forest canopy management’s covid-19 precautions are good enough. Providing a small bottle of sanitizer at the doorstep of each apartment unit is my suggestion. This arrangement at rhapsody, kuttikkanam earlier this year was very reassuring when we stayed there.

Stayed in the Oak Suite Cottage. It's designed like a duplex. Very spacious, well maintained and the place has a premium feel. Well designed balcony sit out. Location is close to the main town. However, there is not much to do in Thekkady apart from Periyaar lake boating/safari. The place is kind of on a small hill like structure with reception at the bottom and restaurant on top, with very steep slopes. The place provides round the clock vehicles for you to move within the property, so it's not inconvenient to move around. Staff at Forest Canopy is very professional and courteous. Only downside was the quality of the towels. Towels were a bit worn out and didn't seem appropriate for a premium place as this. Everything else was good.

The Forest Canopy Resort is perhaps the best resort in Thekkady. The staff is warm, welcoming and very prompt in addressing the needs of their guests. Special mention must be made of Mr. Harris and Mr. Nishant who made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The food was awesome. Perhaps the best that we had in Kerala. Thanks to Chef Varun and Ms. Shyama. The rooms are modern and very walloped. The best part was their library with a good collection of books. I managed to read two of them during my two days stay. My son enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing indoor games and laid hands on the guitar and piano kept in the lounge. Forest canopy made for a perfect stay. I look forward to visiting it next time soon.

Was at the Forest Canopy Thekkady for two days with the family in the last week of September 2017. The Forest Canopy Thekkady design is unique in how it has been casted (sort of) on the hill. The best part is the amazing quality of the food it serves - absolutely freshly cooked and matched to the best of your taste buds. Staff is not just courteous but makes a point to personally help out as required. I need to do Jeep Safari but due to heavy rush that weekend, booking by Forest Canopy Thekkady did not work out. Mr. Haris got into action himself and personally arranged it from the vendor and ensured to follow up until the Jeep arrived at the Forest Canopy Thekkady.

It has great view of scenery and trees. Totally stands by its name - Forest Canopy. All amenities are well taken care. The cleanliness and the landscaping is fantastic. The rooms are having good wooden work. The bathroom designed in a very modern way. As the property is located over the slopes, they provide quick cab service to move between, so it is commendable effort. Another great thing is that it is located very near to local attractions- Periyar reserve, market and NavaRasa performance. It has breathtaking views with lush greenery. The restaurant staff is very good and polite. Kaushik from the front desk ensured a comfortable stay. Thanks.

One of the best Forest Canopy Thekkady/resort experiences we have had till now! The best part being the kind warm and courteous behaviour of all their staff. They have just a beautiful property out there and we just spent one whole day in the resort relaxing and enjoying within there. The facilities at their cottages and the view from there is just breathtaking and honestly I don’t give ratings and feedback. But this one is something I am doing to communicate our experience and warmth and personalised care we received at Forest Canopy. Cheers to the whole support staff and the Forest Canopy Thekkady management !!!

Very good experience, food is very good and hygienic, nice location and view from the room was very fantastic. Very clean rooms, everything is very fantastic, staff are very good and very nice place.

Loved just about everything about this property. Only wish it could offer more options in Menu especially for Vegetarian people like us. Rooms are big with exotic architects. Food though limited options is great. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Location was great .. Staff is very polite and humble. Food is also good. View from balcony is awesome. 24*7 dessert and coffee shop. Great stay. Five star for hospitality. One must stay in this Forest Canopy Thekkady when visiting thekkady

Everything is good, nice place to visit.

This is a very Nice place. Though was injured during my travel time, the staff did not made me realize that I had a fracture in my leg. They took a great care of mine. Also the family enjoyed the stay here.

We were greeted with smiling Nameste right from security to Reservation staff. Extremely well trained and professional team at the resort. The check in was seamless and very fast. We had booked their Oak Suite for 4 of us. The room was right on the top and gave us very good view from our balcony. The room was very well furnished and had all guest Amenities required to make our stay comfortable. The resort has small swimming pool and a gym. It also has well equipped indoor games for kids.

It's too good.. We stayed only for 1 night but staff is too much helpful and cooperative. Overall no words to explain how much I like. All service and location and view all are too good. Just go and experience.

You have to go in steep route to restaurants and they will provide cab for u to go but every time you need to reach the reception for the same

Excellent rooms, service, food, ambience. Staff was very helpful. Convient location. Serene and quite property. Pleasant environment. Other facilities like pool, conference rooms. Specially recommended for couples.

Excellent resort with modern facilities and very cordial and helpful staff. The food had variety and great taste. The best aspect was the service and the super efficient staff. The cottages were chic and modern. Would strongly recommend this to fellow travelers.
