Fortune Khajjiar is undoubtedly the best hotel in Khajjiar. Its location is a major highlight — just a short walking distance from the beautiful Khajjiar Park, the main attraction of the area. The property is well-maintained, comfortable, and offers a truly relaxing stay. What really stands out is the impressive statue of Hanumanji on the premises and the heated pool, which was an absolute delight in such low temperatures. A quaint little hotel just 5 mins walk from the famed Khajjiar meadow, Fortune Hotel manages old world charm, professional efficiency and feel good stay all in one. Just an hour away’s drive from Dalhousie and Banikhet, it can easily be made the resting point for a few days trip in the area. Special thanks to Gaurav and Umesh at the Restaurant and Chef Surendra for the lovely meals served , making our stay at Fortune Hotel Khajjiar the most wonderful one. A big thanks to House Keeping staff too for arranging everything at a moment’s notice. Also special thanks to staff for arranging cracker bursting programme, a bonfire and goodies to go along on Deepawali night. From Hoshiarpur Fortune to Khajjiar Fortune… we found the ITC spirit going strong. Thank you.

Premium Resort with excellent staff

For those wanting to take a break from the busy city life need to stay in this resort. What makes this resort special is its location. Its situated inside a wildlife sanctuary of Khajjiar that is very serene surrounded by forests in the midst of nature. The staff is very helpful and keeps checking with you about your needs. The chef would personally come and enquire with us about the food. On 24th August there was a cloudburst and several landslides in the area. The resort staff helped us stay put and kept us informed about the situation. When the roads were cleared, they informed us and then we made a move.

We are a family of 3, opted for a Deluxe Attic room in Fortune Khajjiar. Service was fine, could be faster during morning hours. Food was good, few fruits were stale. Staff was very cooperative and polite. Room was well equipped and spacious. Gymnasium should have an AC or atleast a Fan, it was very hot inside. Kids play area was again very hot during Summer Afternoon with only 2 wall mounted fans working in such a big hall. Kids toys were limited and all scattered, could have been better managed.
