Fragrant Nature Backwater Resort, Kollam

We visited this property in august 2024. We had booked a lake-facing villa. It had one visiting room and a bedroom. Very clean. Nice amenities. Amiable staff. We also went for a complimentary boat ride. It has a spacious restaurant. Taste is okay-not excellent. The complementary breakfast, too, was okay. Reasonably good parking space is available. We didn't use the spa. There is a gym where you can also do some recreational activities like table tennis, chess, etc. One should walk and see the entire property - there is a coffee shop on the riverside. We were slightly upset with the lax implementation of the pool regulations. People bypassed the pool maintenance personnel's request to comply, entering the pool wearing churidars and not showering. I think the property should tell the pool regulations in advance to people who come in big groups. Pool hygiene and adequate chlorination are essential in this era of frequent amoebic encephalitis. Another highlight is the option to experience kayaking, country boating, or speed boat rides through the mangroves by contacting any kayaking centre near fragrant nature. We went to a centre named ‘mangrove spot’ and selected a speed boat drive ( we didn't try kayaking. Our boat driver, mr sudheesh, was excellent. He took our photos. Even though we doubted the speed boat would allow a pleasant experience of the mangroves, it moved very slowly. So we could enjoy. A speed boat will take around 30 minutes, while a country boat will take 1-1. 5 hours. They have good ratings in google reviews. Overall, it was a lovely weekend.

I discovered the property while browsing the internet. I made a reservation through makemytrip. Com. I traveled with my wife and two children. I preferred a premium lake view apartment with a private balcony. Our stay was consistently comfortable. The beautiful nature is the primary attraction, and the well-maintained property makes it an excellent choice for vacations. The rooms are tidy, clean, and meet the standards of a four-star Fragrant Nature Backwater Resort, Kollam. The complimentary boat ride was also a fantastic experience. The breakfast also met our expectations. However, amenities such as the swimming pool, gym, and recreation area require renovation.

The property is in a beautiful lake side location. Rooms are spacious and kept very clean. The best thing about this place is all staff from reception, restaurant, house keeping, security and even the outdoor cleaning and maintenance staff greet you everyday that too with a smile. Great experience. Hope to visit again

Property is amid-st nature and our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. They provide some complementary activities like boat ride, fishing and kids play room. Highlight was the sunset view point with amazing view and food was also good ! would highly recommend this property for family.

I recently stayed at fragrant nature resort, and it was a fantastic experience! the ambiance is incredibly relaxing, with stunning natural surroundings and soothing views all around. The food was delicious, offering a wonderful variety of options at every meal.

The resort was a rejuvenating experience, room was comfortable and spacious, all the staff were friendly, helping, especially ms. Leeba, food was excellent, indoor gym and play area, pool, and the boat ride they provide was excellent.

Good ambience. Staffs are very friendly. We had to skip complementary boating as our slot was at 10 am breakfast time and just before checkout. No fan in room provided. Only a/c is available. Ambience and staffs are so good.

It was a great experience. The property is just amazing. There is a lot of space and lots of activities as well. The food also was amazing though a bit on the higher side

I came to know about this resort from my friend and it is excellent. I really enjoyed the stay, ambiance, food and everything. It is a perfect place for family and kids.
