I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fresh Water Resort, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. The level of service provided was impeccable, with every need or request being met promptly and with a smile. The resort's commitment to hygiene and cleanliness was evident everywhere I looked. The rooms were spotless, and the public areas were well-maintained. This attention to detail added an extra layer of comfort to my stay, knowing that my health and well-being were a top priority. Now, let's talk about the views – breathtaking would be an understatement. Waking up to the sight of crystal-clear water and lush greenery was like stepping into a dream. The serene beauty of the surroundings truly allowed me to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And oh, the food! The culinary experience at Fresh Water Resort was nothing short of exquisite. The dum aloo, in particular, was a delightful surprise – bursting with flavors that I'll be craving for a long time. The variety of dishes offered and the attention to quality ingredients showcased the resort's dedication to providing a memorable dining experience. What truly stood out, beyond all these remarkable aspects, was the genuine courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Their warm smiles and eagerness to assist made me feel like more than just a guest – I felt like a valued part of their extended family. In summary, my stay at Fresh Water Resort was an unforgettable journey of relaxation, gastronomic delights, and heartwarming hospitality. Oh what a beautiful property. You can just visit this place for a staycation if you want to, because it’s worth every single penny you spend into it. It is right by the banks on the lidder river, where you can see and hear the lidder river throughout the day and night. And if you have a river facing room- you are golden. The rooms are pretty huge, have all sorts of amenities you may need, provide all the basic things you may need. The room service is absolutely amazing and the staff, the managers are so humble, so nice, so welcoming, it was a delight. Not once did they refuse us anything- even when we asked for some extra food cause one of us was sick, they were happy to oblige. The highlight of this place has to be its magnificent cozy garden. It’s a charm both day and night. They have beautiful laid out area to sit and chill on the grass and even chairs. And it’s right by the river. The food is absolutely delicious to say the least. And lastly, the money you spend into this experience is so worth it. Just another thing i’d like to mention is- the place is 2 stories high and does not have a lift and a little interior from the main road-which honestly is a blessing. Please do visit.

*location and hospitality: my recent stay was pleasant overall. The staff was exceptionally attentive and prompt in addressing any requests i had. The location offered a delightful view from my room, which added to the experience. *food and amenities: the food provided by the Fresh Water Resort was decent and offered a more than sufficient quantity for two people. Additionally, amenities like the smart tv and heating blanket were a nice touch, although they fell under the category of average. *room for improvement: however, some of the amenities felt a bit dated. An upgrade to the overall facilities would definitely elevate the guest experience. Overall, the Fresh Water Resort offers a comfortable stay with friendly service, good food portions, and a pleasant view. However, if you're looking for cutting-edge amenities, you might want to consider other options.

We loved our stay at fresh water resort. The location is amazing and the views are exactly as shown in the photographs. The best part of the property is the beautiful garden right on the river. There's a wide range of seating and lounging options and they serve all the meals there. It was a real pleasure being in that garden. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. We are both vegans and the chef made sure to customise all our meals. The service was warm and friendly. Mr shabbier and team are so fast to respond and always ready to help. When we had visited, it was slightly hot but it was totally manageable. The evenings and mornings were very pleasant. And we were out in the afternoon. Overall, we had a fantastic stay here.

The resort is located 15 km’s short of pahalgam, next to rafting point in a beautiful location next to lidder river. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated. The staff are courteous and efficient. The bed linen needs to be carefully checked by housekeeping manager as one sheet had holes and stains. The bathrooms were not up to standard and need a makeover. The chef at the property needs training in how to prepare food without putting an overdose of chillies. Food is a weak point and so the establishment needs to invest in a new chef or better trained chef. Nevertheless it was overall a good experience due to the pleasant and helpful staff who made up for the weak points in the property.

Stayed here on 15 &16th feb. The location is awesome with scenic view of the river just next to the resort and mountains. The staff is very helpful and cooperative always at your service, even the manager is a lovely person who always has a smile and greets you every time he passes by. Food is good with 5-6 options in buffet for dinner and breakfast including 1 non-veg. Since resort is located next to river it is bit more chill i but rooms have ac heating and heated bed so nothing to worry. Overall a good resort to stay at good price to create beautiful memories. Recommended.

This Fresh Water Resort is not only nestled in a beautiful valley but run by a team which is out of ordinary courteous. The manager saber said don’t hesitate to call me a brother, the chef preparing dish that suited the kids and even the house keeping staff was more than eager to oblige. The owner khan sahib shared some life lessons. If you want to explore the valley, have great hospitality and interact, explore the local village it’s amazing. The salami malik hum from stranger when you walk the lanes of the village, makes you feel so much one with the village

The perfect description for this stay is value for money! location is 10-15 kms before pahalgam. Perfect for folks who have the vehicle at disposal. Pahalgam is a place to do quite a few activities so most of the time will be spent outside the room. Save money on room and spend on activities which makes this a perfect fit. Mornings are great here as property is right next to the river. Food is decent (i m a vegetarian, very standard food made available here as per kashmir. Bathrooms are clean and decent.

We are a family of 6 people stayed at the resort for 2 nights. Positives: the location of the resort is excellent with the view of mountains and adjacent to the lidder river. The food served for breakfast and dinner is very tasty and affordable. Negatives: room 31 allotted to us having issues with the geyser and the bathroom smells bad. The room is not cleaned for the next day. Overall the experience was good.

The property and the staff are very good. Food is mostly fine and can be improved. The location is amazing and the rooms are nice. Overall it was a nice experience

Resort is nice and location is also excellent food with limited varieties. Just one suggestion in the winters please increase heaters per room two. Next time surely prefer to book. If there is a heavy snowfall the route to resort always be blocked as it's a borrow passage and in that area many other Fresh Water Resorts also there.

The Fresh Water Resort is at a perfect location. Their food and hospitality is awesome. Must visit.

We took premium room in 1st floor in fresh water resorts. The best part of this property is its location. Room is spacious, neat and clean. Bathroom is not good. Dinner and bf are ok. Value for money rating is poor.

Faboulous Stay Excellant Room Service Most Secure Place to Stay at Pahalgam ..Couple Friendly and Safe Place for Family Stay

The freshwater resort is located near a streamlet and has a flower yard in front. The rooms have mountain view as in the pics. Food is good and the people were very welcoming.

Location, food, stay was good. Staff were cordial. Cleanliness and hygiene was good. Only the fact that this resort is 20 mins away from pahalgam is a minus. But if u have a vehicle and can plan your trip properly then no probs. Overall 4. 5/5.
