Funtastico Beach Resort

Well, it's located and built on the beach. I mean it. Approach to the Funtastico Beach Resort is through a rock laid approach on sand. Pros- 1) location 2) excellent service by mr lovely ( luvkesh) and his team, they have a nice personal touch. 3) nice looking wooden cottages cons- 1) breakfast is very basic, also the veg thali is average tasting 2) voltage fluctuated almost all day, impacting ac cooling, till they run the generator ( which they did) 3) in my case, on day 1 my car was parked beside another car ( which had the driver staying in the car all day, night) and i found several long scratches on the left side doors both, fender. All deliberate. The resort need to take care of such things, where external drivers should not be allowed to roam in parking area all night. 4) on day 2, the resort had an alcohol party of owners male friends ( all locals) in the common lawn area in evening, till 11 30 pm. This is not acceptable for families who are staying in resort. A big negative and owner us to be blamed for this. Even our dinner was delayed till 10 45 pm. Since dining tables, chairs were taken out and used in this alcohol party

Good place to stay, but onsite staff needs to be trained better. The bathroom had not been cleaned at all. After a Long drive it was extremely annoying to request for the bathroom to be cleaned. In sandy places, like some Funtastico Beach Resorts in Goa, there should be an arrangement to get some of the sand off before entering the room, thereby reducing the sand carried into the room. Neither towels nor water was available in the room. On request, we got both. Our payment included with breakfast, but the staff was blank about this. We were given a phone number and a menu to order. Later in the evening, an onsite staff member brought in the chap to take our breakfast order, which was to come at 8 AM the following morning. There was no sign of it until 8:30 AM. We called thrice from two different phones only to get a phone switched off message. On asking the onsite staff member we were told it was our lookout and he had nothing to do with it. We left for Malvan Town and had breakfast there. It's a good place and people are not bad it's just that they need to be trained better.

We stayed only one night, with a package that included all meals and 6 water sports activities. Staff and service: the staff was so amazing, they made us feel at home right off the bat. We ordered snacks multiple times, and they delivered with a smile on their faces each time. They never once complained that "some" meal is not part of deal or anything of the sort. Shout out to lovely and shubham for the care and service they provided. The guide who took us for the water sports was very prompt. He was at the door within 10 mins, once we were ready to go. Food: the food was pretty good, with quite a few choices in seafood; loved the surmai fish andsquidd. Location: the resort is located right at the beach. One can enjoy the sunset right from the balcony. Beach is a little too commercialized and quite dirty - with plastics and beer bottles just laying there. Local admin should put some effort into keeping it clean. Had a very pleasant experience with the shopkeepers at tharkarli beach. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Pros: 1. The beach just outside the resort is an ideal spot for enjoying. The beach there is sandy one. 2. The rooms are just big enough for 3 people. 3. 'lovely singh' an employee of this resort is a great asset of this resort. His service attitude and helping nature is exemplary. No other staff of this resort displayed this behaviour, i. E, they were just good enough. 4. The restaurant's cook is undoubtedly praise worthy as well. The taste of food is very homely, which all of us liked. 5. The sunset view from this resort is very good. Cons: 1. The occupants of the ground floor have to choose privacy vs. Sunlight in the room. As glass door entrance to the room is towards the walkway/ path which all the resort staff other occupants of the resort would be using through out the day, the ground floor room occupants are forced to close the curtains 24x7 for their own privacy.

Hotel is located bang on the Beach, so it becomes the main point of attraction. We spent all our evenings enjoying with our group by the beach side. Room are neat and clean but there were some bugs which gave my little daughter a swollen face the next morning. They should have intercoms placed inside the room for the ease of communication with the staff. Food was ok, with very limited options available to be served. At such a place, they should be serving local authentic dishes rather than serving what we generally eat in cities. Staff was helpful and courteous but very limited members in staff, not more than 2 for the entire resort of 8 rooms. All said and done, with little scope of improvements here and there, it is the best place we could find for our 3 nights stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it for it's direct access to a private beach.

As soon as you enter the Funtastico Beach Resort area, they check your temperature and sanitize all the luggage you carry. The staff is so co-operative. They never say no for anything. The food is amazing. We would come back to Funtastico Beach Resort from anywhere just to have lunch. All the places are nearby, you need not worry about the distance when you are in funtastico. We specially enjoyed the sunset there. Even if you do not go anywhere and just stay at the Funtastico Beach Resort, you won't miss the best sunset of your life. The beach is so clean with less and at times no people. The water in the beach looks divine.

Resort is on sea beach amazing view & location. We not only enjoyed but also we get complete peace of mind for 2 days and we relaxed ourselves. We celebrated our daughter's birthday on beach & resort arranged very well decorated & planned event with gazibo, music, dinner& dance etc. Thanks to management & team, the staff is very well behaved & helpful in nature they helped us to plan our stay in malvan with watersports & boat ride etc. Canteen service is excellent & prompt we ordered snacks so many times but staff didn't complained & didn't in-gored any of our order. Thank you & all the best.

The location is excellent. Exteriors are best. The first thing you notice is nice warm wooden cottages. The staff is courteous and helpful. Special appreciation to rahul who made sure we had everything we wanted. The food is tasty. One more bonus for petlovers, there are pets on the property which do not disturb the guests at all neither do they cause any nuisance. They are adorable. Only cons are the wooden cottage with upper storey isn't convenient for ground floor rooms as it creates lots of disturbance. Food service could be faster. Overall it was a decent and satisfying stay.

Safe Beach, can hang out on Beach late night

This place is very near to the seashore. Good view...We all enjoyed our stay at Funtastico . The staff was very humble and good. Very tasty and good food.. I would suggest that they should add extra variety to the breakfast. 😊

It was excellent experience with funtatstico resort. Location was beautiful and it's just 50meters from beach. Neat and clean beach. Staff was very helpful.

Best Funtastico Beach Resort for stay and lovely food

Very peaceful stay. Property next to the beach. The food was tasty and the staff very courteous. Midpoint to both tarkarli and devbag beach.

The cottage are awesome. Staff is also nice. Hotel is hygiene. Beach view is also awesome. Everything is nice. The dogs are also nice. Wifi connectivity is also good

The resort is the only good beach resort. Given the area in which it is, it provides you the best of facilities. The food is good! The staff here is vary caring and friendly. I went for a solo trip to the beach and hardly had any problem with the stay.

Loved this resort. Right on the seashore. Very neat and clean property. Dedicated staff for the room. They are very polite and friendly. Food quantity is great and fast service. Every food item is prepared fresh as per the order. Safe parking. Highly recommended for families as well as groups
